The tour guide was very good but the company has issues. The bikes are ancient - it seems that I got the same one with sad brakes.
I had an amazing experience with Lebo as my tour guide. He was exceptional – incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about Johannesburg. Even though it wasn’t my first time in the city, he introduced me to places I had never seen before and offered fresh insights that gave me a deeper appreciation for the culture and history. A very reliable and cool tour guide. It is a good choice to tour the city of Johannesburg by bicycle. Since I was the only one in the cycling group, I asked him to take me to the place where the street photography was taken. Got a lot of satisfying photos. Without him, I wouldn’t even dare to take out my camera. He can solve all the troubles caused when taking pictures. I encountered some small problems during the itinerary. Since I purchased a 5-hour trip for one day, the message from the tour guide company was a half day tour , he was a nice person and took me ride for 4 hours (not 5 hours). Travelers who like photography can participate.
It was a great ride and I learned a lot about the history of South Africa. Thanks to my tour guide BK, he is a great guy who takes care of my abilities, we also chatted about the drama we watched recently, coincidentally we both watched BEFF recently. Hope to meet again next time

We wanted to show some family and friends the real Johannesburg (not the plastic Sandton version) so booked an e-scooter tour with Honest Travel. We crossed through virtually every downtown suburb and had a blast. We saw parts of the city that most tourists will never visit, yet they are integral parts of Johannesburg. It was great fun zipping around on the scooters and getting up close to the heartbeat of Jozi.
I was so excited to hear that there's a company within my city that offers Tuk Tuk tours. It was amazing to see Johanesburg from that perspective with my friends. Our host was very fun and matched our energy levels and lunch was amazing
I don't have any pictures of my experience, nor did I even think about taking pictures because that's just how immersive everything was. I did the walking cuisine tour of Yeoville and even though it was raining, I had an incredible time and fully got to immerse myself in the vibe of Yeoville. Franck and Tye are so helpful and so friendly, they made sure we were comfortable during the tour. I would definitely recommend popping them a message to organize your own tour. I know I'll be organizing one with them very soon.
The tour was a great way to discover more of Joburg, understand the neighborhoods and their history, and try out some new foods. Tye was energetic and personable, and ensured I was having an enjoyable time. Looking forward to doing another tour with HTE!
