Start your day trip to Udaipur with pickup at your centrally-located hotel or any desired location in Jodhpur, or Jodhpur Junction railway station. Choose from multiple departure times (advise at booking time) to suit your schedule. On the way to Udaipur, first stop at the complex of the Ranakpur Jain temples in the Aravalli range stuns the visitor with its intricate carvings and exquisite beauty. Learn about the history of this 15th-century temple and unique architecture, including numerous pillars. See the large colony of monkeys that inhabit the temple and surrounding area. Next you will visit Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the great view and learn about the history of the fort.
One of the famous and sacred places of Jains. The temple is located in the heart of the city and is an architectural marvel. The structure is really huge running into multiple floors. The temple houses more than 400 pillars, all of which are beautifully engraved. The place os really peaceful and surely gives a great holy feel. While you are here, do not miss out on the evening Aarti. You can get a good idea about the history of the temple and place from the priest family that manages the temple.
Kumbhalgarh fort is at a drive of around 3 hours from Udaipur. It is a mewar fortress built by Rana Sangha in the 15th century. This fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. The highlight of the fort is a 36 km long perimeter walls, which is the second longest wall after the wall of china. The other monuments in the fort comprises of ganesh temple and jain temple.
After your day visit, continue drive to Udaipur, and upon reaching, your tour driver will dropped you off at your hotel in Udaipur.

To visit the temple of Ranakpur that is definitely worth a visit, we chose to drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur. It’s a lot of road but the vehicle is of good quality and our driver’s drive was very smooth.

I went Udaipur to Jodhpur. Driver was great and temple wss beautiful. They will pick you up at Chandpole parking lot in Udaipur as it is a mess in the old city traffic wise and cars cannot fit.

We signed up for this day tour as a convenient way to travel from Jodhpur to Udaipur, but it turned out to the one of the highlights of our trip! Bittu the driver, was great and also made a nice lunch stop along the way. Both the temple and fort are spectacular. Overall a wonderful trip! Following the advice of another review, we requested a pick-up at 9am from Jodhpur and we got to the Jain temple right after it opened at 12

I wanted to get from Jodhpurto Udaipur with a stop to visit Ranakpur. Bittu from Udaipur, Rajasthan was my driver for the day. He drove very well, speaks good English and made my day very enjoyable. As a solo traveller I felt very safe all day.

Jodhpur to Udaipur private Daytrip with Bhagwat Singh. Booked easily for our transfer from Jodhpur to Udaipur By udaipur tour and taxi , we wanted to see Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur on the way and this was no problem.
