The itinerary was touted as “family friendly” when indeed it was not. It was tailored more towards college kids wanting a “party boat” experience. They also implement a $45 USD per person docking fee above the ticket price. For that price point, you can probably get a smaller, quieter boat that tends to your individual needs instead of party boat with 100 people on it. Furthermore the food at the beach club was less than stellar and the drinks were limited and watered down. Our family felt like herded cattle. Lastly, the last stop at the city of Islas Mujeres was only an hour long and was unnecessary.
We had such a beautiful afternoon on the catamaran tour to Isla Mujeres! My boyfriend and I took the sunset trip, and it was absolutely magical. The snorkeling was a fun and refreshing experience, with crystal-clear water and colorful marine life. After that, we sailed into the sunset with music, drinks, and the most incredible views. It was romantic, relaxing, and truly unforgettable — one of the best memories from our trip!
we went to cancun with all my family, and sure this is a trip you can not miss, there was many seaweed in the cancun area and this was one of the things why we did this tour, the water in isla mujeres is amazing, there is no seaweed and we had the open bar included, the beach club is amazing, the sunbeds so confortable and the treatment of the staff 10 of 10, you have to pay the dock fee in the marina but we comparate many other travel agencies and this was a fair price. the snorkeling is amazing, my family really enjoyed this activity
The staff was wonderful, I would give them 5 stars. The snorkeling was horrible! The current was way too strong, it felt more of a survival experience, I would have preferred if they just cancelled it instead of having everyone swim a mile against the current without fins. There was also elder people in the water that were having a very hard time. It was dangerous! We did not have a good time in this activity, my son was traumatized. We have done snorkeling in the past but this was way to harsh. The beach area was also ok, it was a shallow beach. The food at the buffet was not good either, hot dogs, some fruit, and cold mex food. Perhaps the golf cart rental was better. Again the crew was very nice and they kept the atmosphere fun, we would return to Isla Mujeres but not do the snorkeling.
Staff was amazing. Island is beautiful. Lunch buffet was just okay. I’d definitely do the catamaran tour again though. Driving the golf carts around the island was fun too. Just know that is an additional fee but it’s fun and worth it.
there was no communication through the tripadvisor or viator app. i tried many ways to reach the company including telephone (answering machine in spanish no call back). we opted for hotel pickup in considering safety, and no time was communicated to us. turns out they only communicate via whatsapp and when i figured that out. they were short and rude i couldn’t find any reviews online and the photos seem like standard images. being alone w my daughter i began to question if this was a good idea. i cancelled the trip.
We were unable to go on this trip due to weather and then the timing of the rest of our vacation, however, the trip planner was amazing at working with us to try and reschedule and then offer a full refund when it did not work out. I would recommend them just by their customer service alone!
