I booked this tour in June with Ferdavs. She is an amazing guide! I enjoyed the tour a lot and she even tailored it for me to meet my needs. Thanks a lot and I recommend the tour to everyone, especially great for female travelers.
I recommend this visit to anyone who wants to explore the city in the company of a safe and experienced guide. Fridaus was very kind. Very knowledgeable about attractions and at each sightseeing provided us with a historical and cultural back ground. Very interesting! Thank you!
Thank you Mr Giacomo for the positive feedback. We hope to you host you again.
Had a great experience being shown around Kampala! I did the shorter 2-hour walking tour and highly recommend it if you’re low on time but still want to see the city.
Thank you Amanda for supporting local female initiatives. We are glad that you were pleased with our service.
The local knowledge from our guide Fridaus was invaluable. What a great guide. We walked our way through markets, mosques, temples, monuments and more. A really great tour to start a Kampala adventure. Highly recommended
WOW. Fridaus is our super guide. Thank you for choosing us. We hope to host you again.
I highly recommend going around Kampala with a local guide. Fridaus was lovely and very knowledgeable. She explained history of uganda, and cultural practices. I would warn you though this is a one way tour. We were left at the Mosque with no clear understanding how to get back to our hotel and no Internet to call an Uber or use Maps to walk back. Fridaus was kind enough to call an Uber for us.
Thank you for the feedback. It’s true that this is some way tour, we start our tour at a meeting point and end at a different stop where you can easily access transportation. And if your not connected to internet, the guide will definitely help and will not leave until you’ve left.
This tour is great! I've been on this tour twice now and both my hosts (Sarah and Fridaus) have been wonderful. All the spots are so interesting and varied, and you get to try delicious food.
Thank you Laura for choosing us not once but twice. We really appreciate your support.
I had a chance to walk thorough Kampala with Fridaus. It was very good experience. My guide was very informative, explained me a lot about history and culture. We walked through all landmarks of Kampala. Rolex was amazing - everybody must try it.
I had one day to see Kampala on my first visit to Uganda. And what a great day it was spent with Fredaus. She was so knowledgeable and the tour gave me a true taste of the local life and culture. I am quite an experienced traveller but I am glad I opted to have a guide as I have learned a lot and also felt very safe (as a female) walking along the streets and markets of Kampala and being taken to the best sport to take the photos. Highly recommend this tour. It was very easy to book (I literally booked it while chatting in the cafe with another solo female tourist who recommended it to me).
I was shown the sights of Kampala by Fridaus. She was amazing. I originally thought I would walk the markets and mosque by myself, thank god for Fridaus as I now know I would not have seen anything like I did. She told me all the history of Gadaffi Mosque, the independence statue, the war memorial and she carefully guided me throught the busiest markets, we did Owino market which sells EVERYTHING and nakasero market for vegetables and fruit. She explained and helped me buy some local foods and snacks. I cannot thank her enough for the funny stories, the history but most of all the feeling of security I had having her guide me around the busy streets.
We had Frida, and she was fantastic — so warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating! As for the experience itself, this is probably the most comprehensive walking tour you'll find. We explored downtown, uptown, and central Kampala! We even squeezed in some shopping at the fabric district and the Craft Village. It was a privilege to explore places we couldn't venture on our own, like Owino Market. Stay close to your guide and you’re in for a great time!
