Great way to learn about the Icefield Parkways stops along the way. Easy to use, lots of info, liked the quiz’s at the end of each stop.
Thanks so much for the 5‑star review! We’re glad the app made it easy to explore the Icefields Parkway and that the info and end‑of‑stop quizzes added to the experience. Great to hear you enjoyed the tour!
What a great way to learn about the area and its history. Easy listening that included the type of hikes in the area you were entering and one’s ability to do it.
Thanks so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed learning about the area and found the narration easy to follow. Glad the hike guidance was helpful too - it’s one of our favorite parts of the Icefields Parkway. Thanks for exploring with us!
We really enjoyed the Icefields Parkway narration. The app worked as expected, and provided lots of great information for our family with young kids. Without the narration, we wouldn't have known what we were looking at most of the time, as the narrator named off the mountains and some of the history as we went along. They did a good job telling us about the people, both indigenous and adventurers, that lived in and explored these lands. We enjoyed the humor added to the mix as well. It truly made our drive a significantly better and more informative experience.
Thank you for the wonderful review - we’re thrilled to hear the Icefields Parkway tour added so much to your family’s drive. It’s great to know the narration, mountain names, history, and stories helped bring the landscape to life, and that the humor landed too. We’re also glad the app worked smoothly for you along the way. Thanks again for the recommendation and for exploring the Parkway with us.
Highly recommend this audio tour for the 3 1/2 hours drive down the ice field. A lot of information provided. Told us where to stop and take hikes to Albaca Falls, some water, the fall and the glacier turnout. Instead of being 3 1/2 hours straight drive time it turned into seven hours. With walking hiking and seeing the sites.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the Icefields Parkway tour. While our time estimate covers the driving portion only, we're delighted that you took the time to explore all the recommended stops along the way. That’s exactly how to get the most out of the experience. We really appreciate the recommendation and are glad the tour helped make your day on the Parkway even more memorable.
The tour is from Banff to Jasper. We were going to Banff from Jasper and wished the tour would reverse.
hank you for the 4‑star review. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour overall. The Icefields Parkway experience is designed to work in either direction, including Jasper to Banff, with the audio triggering automatically as you drive. If that didn’t happen for you, it may have been a setup or permissions issue, and we appreciate you mentioning it so others know to double‑check their settings before they head out. We’re happy you still enjoyed the content, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
Audio only worked for the introduction and nothing after that. Written info was there but not able to read as would get car sick. Missed places due to audio not working. Don't believe it was because the download wasn't complete though. The programme knew where we were but just the audio wouldn't work. Very disappointing.
Thank you for your feedback - we’re sorry to hear the audio didn’t continue during your drive. This sounds like a device permission or download setting wasn't set up as required. This could prevent the narration from automatically playing at each POI. If you’d like to troubleshoot it, feel free to email us at info@tripvia.tours and we can take a look at what happened on your device. Your tour never expires, so you’re welcome to enjoy it on your return trip once everything is set up correctly.
Be prepared for a long ride without any cellular service. So have music or some sort of audio pre downloaded for when you make the return trip. It is not a loop, you drive all the way there from Banff to Jasper and then have to turn around and drive it back. Gorgeous ride.
Thank you for the great review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the gorgeous drive along the Icefields Parkway - it really is something special. This is one of our most popular tours, so it’s wonderful to hear it continues to be enjoyed. ⭐ And excellent tip about downloading everything ahead of time. While we always recommend getting the tour set up before heading out, it’s great when fellow travelers reiterate how helpful that can be on a route with limited service. 📵 We appreciate you taking the journey with us.
We really enjoyed the audio tour as we drove down the Ice Hwy, and I don’t usually like a lot of details and history. The narrator made it very interesting and entertaining😀

Fun and informative narration of our drive. It worked perfectly, turning on at all the right spots even though we did not have cell service.

It's fantastic to hear that the tour worked perfectly and triggered at all the right spots, even when you didn't have cell service—that's exactly how it's designed to work! We hope you'll join us for another tour on your next adventure.
Very useful. Thisrecording told us all of the beautiful places to stop. We were able to pick it right up once we stopped and once we were ready to go again it was just in the perfect place. We learned so much history as well.
