We had an amazing day trip as a family to Cairo. The journey is definitely long, but honestly, it didn’t feel too tiring because the minibus was very comfortable. There were only 8 people in total—our family and just one other family—so it really felt like a private tour, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Seeing the pyramids in real life was absolutely incredible, something you can’t really describe until you see it yourself. The museum was also amazing, full of history and very interesting to walk through. Big thanks to our guide Ahmed—he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything in a simple and engaging way. You could tell he really knows his stuff and enjoys what he does. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth the long trip. Highly recommend it if you’re staying in Hurghada and want to visit Cairo!
