Great way to get into the...

Great way to get into the wild. Even though it was rainy, we enjoyed the tour guide’s commentary and local stories. Dinner was served family style and was delicious.

A unique covered wagon experience

This was a unique and different experience from the very beginning. Our bus driver Larry was professional and funny. Our guides Nola and Ryan were both knowledgeable about horses and Alaska history and nature. The scenery during the ride was spectacular. The meal that was included was outstanding and there were even fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Five stars all the way. Black Diamond really knows how to treat their guests. If you get an opportunity to do this tour, don't pass it up.

What a great experience, not to be missed.

We had a great horse draw wagon ride through the back woods, then a nice cooked dinner, and a trip back. we had great guide Danny had some great stories & information about the area. We were on the RC post cruise tour but this excersion was not offered, so book it yourself. They picked us up at our hotel & returned us.

Wonderful Covered Wagon/Dinner Experience!

Great experience! Chad our great driver was so pleasant and LOVED talking about the horses and the paired training he had done with each team. We learned so much from him. Sony was so amazing that she had learned so much about the area! Wow! Dinner was great- you don’t go away hungry. Thanks for including wine with dinner. What a nice surprise. Family friendly. We loved this experience!

Lovely , slow paced tour in the back country! With delicious food.

This tour is very nice. You hop in a wagon where they have blankets ready for you. The tour guide we had was wonderful, she was very knowledgeable , and very friendly. Our horses were Rex and Chuck. Beautiful horses. We rode the wagon through the back country, where we came across a dining establishment only for those on the tour. The food was Fantastic! If you love seeing nature, and want to experience the beauty of nature in Denali back country, this tour is perfect. We loved every minute of it.

Great evening in Healy

Stumbled on this tour by accident while having dinner at the Black Diamond grill and so glad we did! It was such a fun evening! The horses, Spike and Lee, were beautiful, the scenery spectacular and learned quite a bit of history around Healy. Ross was a great guide and Lexi was an expert with the horses. Dinner was delicious- especially the salmon. Highly recommend this for a great evening adventure.

A Denali Area Must-Do

This is the 1st AK visit for us as a couple. Denali N.P. is our top priority. We never expected to have such a nice surprise and great experience with this exertion hidden in Healy, AK. Skylar is very energetic and we learned a lot about the local culture and wilderness from her. The wagon driver Lexi is very friendly and professional. Of course we owe our ride to the two magnificent Belgian horses- Chief and Joker! Love them!! The dinner was incredible. We can say the food is one of the best we had during our entire AK vacation. It is family style all you can eat dinner, and you dine with people from all over the world! This is definitely one of the best experice in Denali area you would not want to miss! Thumbs up to the young chef and the crew!!! 🥰😋- from B & L, USA
