Come explore the Alaska Wilderness off the road. Explore in a guided and climate controlled Search & Rescue Fat Truck/Sherp while staying safe from the weather, bugs, and the occasional wild animal. This 3 Hour tour takes you off road up steep mining trails to vista views, teaches you about the local history, and geological formations near Denali National Park in an adventurous off road Fat Truck search & rescue vehicle. (Plan on about 3.5-4 hours if using the the hotel shuttle service from select hotels during the summer season)

Pickup Locations & Times
Shuttle available from May 1st - Sept 30th. Please let us know which hotel you will be staying at so we can coordinate a shuttle if you need it. The Shuttle will pick up guests at locak hotels 30-45 minutes before the tour start time and return them 30-45 minutes after the tour end time.

We enjoyed a very fun experience. Our guide, Stephen, shared interesting facts throughout the tour and kept us entertained while we enjoyed the experience of sightseeing in the SHERP. The company also flies a drone to find wildlife. We saw several moose. The highlight for us was when they took the SHERP into the lake and a moose joined us for a swim.
We had an amazing time on this tour! The entire crew from our shuttle driver Elizabeth, the owner Joel, our Sherp operator/personnel tour guide Kiara and the other drivers were hands down the most down to earth, friendly, helpful, informative people in town! The personalized drone footage you gave us was icing on the cake!! Our family of 5 can't thank you enough for giving us memories from this one of a kind trip of a lifetime!!
Incredible one of a kind experience. It exceeded our expectations. Our guide Stephen was great at sharing information along our journey including a lot of knowledge on mining and rocks. They also provided a personal video using drones to capture our experience that is included in the cost of the tour. We even saw two mama moose and their twins, even though this is more of a landscape tour.
Stephan was FANTASTIC. Tour is truly a “once in a lifetime” adventure. Added bonus was meeting ex-Alaska State Trooper Miner (& recently retired) who is Owner/Operator of the 1st class operation. One of the best excursions we did on our Alaska trip. As a family of four we decided to do this instead of the delay park tour because we only had 24 hours due to our cruise tour. Best decision we ever made!! We had a more interactive and active excursion than sitting on a school bus. Our guides were knowledgeable and cared about us having a good time for each one of our levels of fun!! Such a cool and unique experience!

This tour is one of a kind and AWESOME. The vehicles provide a great way to see the area. The company is extremely well run and provided a convenient shuttle from our hotel. Stephen our guide and driver was fantastic. He made things very entertaining and was very engaging. If you are in Denali book this tour and you won't regret it.
