This experience includes transportation with our local team to Denali National Park and tickets aboard the official Denali National Park Transit Bus. This is NOT a fully guided private tour inside the park. --- This Denali day sightseeing package is the easiest way to experience Denali National Park when you’re short on time. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the experience. Start with photos at the iconic Denali National Park sign, then travel into the park aboard the non-narrated East Fork Transit Bus. Watch for moose, bears, and caribou along the Denali Park Road, with binoculars included. After the park, enjoy a meal at the popular 49th State Brewing Company (entrée included) and free time to explore downtown Denali’s “Glitter Gulch” and its nearby shops. Perfect for travelers who want a simple, well-organized way to see Denali in a day without figuring it all out themselves.

Itinerary
Travel into Denali National Park aboard the official East Fork Transit Bus, one of the only ways to go beyond mile 15. This 4-hour journey offers a great chance to spot wildlife like moose, bears, and caribou along the Denali Park Road. Transit bus ticket included, no separate booking required.
Stop at the Denali Visitor Center to explore exhibits, walk nearby trails, and get a better sense of the park.
Visit the Magic Bus replica, one of Denali’s most iconic photo spots. Learn about the story behind "Into the Wild" and take a quick stop for photos.
Enjoy a stop at the popular 49th State Brewing Company with a $20 meal voucher included per guest. Relax, grab lunch, and take in views of the Alaska Range. You’ll also have access to the on-site Magic Bus replica.
Wrap up your day with free time in Denali’s main village area, known as “Glitter Gulch.” Browse local shops, grab a drink, or explore at your own pace before the day ends.

We DO NOT pickup in Talkeetna, Cantwell or McKinley Princess Lodge. Guests will be picked up from any location within 10 miles of the Denali National Park entrance at Mile 238 Parks Hwy, Denali National Park, Alaska Pickup from Fairbanks, Anchorage, Talkeetna, or Cantwell is NOT included.

We had a great time with our guide picking us up at the campground and driving us around Denali. They were great and the trip was flawless. They got us the tickets for the Denali bus and gave us a dvice on what to look for. We went for a lunch at 49th state brewing company and really enjoyed the experience! Thanks Mike for a fantastic day.
You're on a park tour bus, an old schoolbus at that, that does loops through the park. The bus driver provides little if any commentary about the park, the wildlife, etc. - this is simply a bus route. The only benefits are being picked up/ dropped off from your hotel, having the bus ticket bought for you and a basic lunch (no drinks) at some brewery. Not really worth the cost. Also the van driver doing pickup/dropoff, while very nice, would not stop talking. There was hardly a chance to ask a question unless he took a breath and you could sneak one in.
This tour is nothing as expected. It is not private tour, someone will just take you to transit bus and put on park driven buses. Rather just park your car next to transit but station and do it yourself for $40 instead of $190 on this tour. Only good part of this tour is dinner provided was at good local brewery.
Mike and Matt were absolutely fantastic! They were both incredibly energetic, enthusiastic, and made the entire experience engaging when we were with him.. Their knowledge was impressive—they shared fascinating facts, answered every question with confidence.. Their passion for what they do was contagious, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an informative and memorable experience!

This was not what we expected, this is not a tour operator, they’re a glorified taxi cab. They picked us up and dropped us off at the depot to ride the NP bus into Denali. They’re just a middleman, they did provided a few light snacks, a bottle of water, binoculars to use and lunch at the end of the day plus transportation to/from the Denali bus depot. They didn’t do anything that we couldn’t have done ourselves at a fraction of the cost. Mike, our van driver was very pleasant and this review is not because of anything he did or didn’t do, he was fun and upbeat. We thought we were booking a small-group personal tour of Denali but instead we got the 4 1:2 hour mass-transport cattle-car school bus ride. This is our fault, we should have read ALL of the reviews, if we had, we would have seen these same comments from others, as they say “buyer beware”

I appreciate you acknowledging that we provided everything listed, including transportation to and from each location, snacks, binoculars, lunch, and tickets on the Denali Park Bus. We are also glad to hear that your guide and driver, Mike, was fun and upbeat. Mike puts a lot of time and focus into his guests experience, we are happy that you recognize that. We hope this review will serve an indicator to all future guests to carefully read the entire description and on our listing before booking. Our listing specifically states that we provide tickets on the east Fork transit bus, and that this bus is one of the only ways to travel deep inside the park. We strive to be transparent for this package offering, and hope that all of our guests do some research and understand what they are getting before booking.
The drive to the end of where the vehicles are permitted was a little too long but we knew that. Not a whole lot of wildlife. Christine, was excellent and fun. Next time I would take the 4 -5 hour tour.

Because our Denali in a Day experience includes traveling as far as private vehicles are permitted inside Denali National Park, there is definitely a good amount of driving involved, and wildlife sightings can vary from day to day. Considering what we got, I feel it was on the expensive side. Could of booked the park shuttle bus and had lunch for 1/4 of the price
