Very disappointed! Expensive for what it was. Long waits between stops. Only 2 buses running. We waited too much, stops not marked well. Bus MC not very informative. We could have UBER'd and saved $200. We have 6 in our family. $300 is ridiculous. No discount for groups. We ended up with only 2 rides, took UBER 3 times because bus was too long to wait. Save yourself a lot of money and just UBER Pittsburgh downtown.
Had a fun time on the bus,,,, John was a great, knowledgeable, amusing Tour Guide. It’s a little annoying that they have so few buses and the schedule is not as frequent as it is in larger cities, but it’s understandable.
Had a great time!! Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! Loved the city views from the top deck of the bus- best way to get around the city and see the sights!
I was on two different buses and both were warm, energetic and funny. Carole and Destany had the bulk of our large group. They dressed in festive gear and treated our family well. I had Bill and I can’t remember our tour guide but she was good too! I didn’t remember to bring cash. Is there a way to provide a tip now? I was on their 7/4, 10:15 am bus.
They allow people to stand if no seating available and then those seated can’t see the attraction. People were very loud talking while tour guide was giving us the history of what we were supposed to be seeing.,
The experience was great until the end. My 81 year old mother was with me, and she enjoyed the experience and wanted to leave the tip. She didn’t know to wait until the end, so she gave the young lady a ten dollar bill when we got off on one of the stops, then at the end she gave her another five dollar bill. The young lady didn’t say thank you, she said “Yes, I think we can split this.” Referring to herself and the bus driver about the five dollar bill. I thought that was extremely rude, and apparently she forgot my mother had already given her a ten. Either way, my mother doesn’t have a very large income each month at 81, so 15 dollars total tip is good for her to leave. I thought the trip was great until it was instantly ruined by rudeness, and I ended up very disappointed with the whole experience!!
Fun. Glad you can hop on and off and explore which I’d really nice. Interesting facts. Watch for tree branches
Great time. The host and bus driver were amazing.
It always helps on such tours to have a good guide. Ours was excellent as was our bus driver, navigating narrow streets with ease. My wife and I enjoyed the knowledge shared by our guide.
Super nice driver who saw us waving madly to flag him down and stopped for us. Knowledgeable and funny guide. Signage at the stops is non existent. Please make it easier to find you!
