TJ was an amazing guide! He was knowledgeable, attentive, and took great care of everything. We really appreciated all the local stories and insights he shared along the way. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed plenty of delicious food. Every stop was great, and we left feeling very satisfied. Highly recommend!
The tour was great. TJ did an excellent job as he was attentive and knowledgeable. I will say the food was fresh and very tasty but in order to finish to the end you have to pace yourself.
If you want to get a good idea of what true Hawaiian food is like you need to take this tour! It was worth every penny and the tour guides made sure we had everything we needed during the hot day. Would do it again and again if I could.
T.J. was knowledgeable and the places we went were amazing. All the food was delicious. I am so happy I went on the tour and got to try all of these different cuisines.
A great selection of delicious foods from the local Chinatown. The tour was interesting and the portions were generous. We enjoyed seeing the vendors at the market and got a peek into a section of Honolulu most tourists never see. Our guide TJ was friendly and provided lots of good information.
Victor and TJ were the best. They were very knowledgeable and all of the food spots were truly local! Transportation from our hotel was also included. I would highly recommend this tour.
I think this food tour will be the highlight of my week in Hawaii. All of the food samples were delicious, well prepared, and of the highest quality, and you definitely fill up quickly if you don't pace yourself. Victor and Treje were excellent and informative guides, not to mention super nice and patient with everyone's questions. Best part for me was sampling fresh caught choturo and the steamed uhu, or parrot fish--both out of this world good. Definitely make this part of your Honolulu experience.
We were on a cruise from LA and decided to do this food tour. They picked us up right from the cruise terminal and took us to the meeting point near Chinatown. TJ and Victor were our tour guides. We stopped by quite a few places for delicious food. Make sure you bring your empty stomach because there are a lot of yummy food to try out.
The walking food tour of Chinatown was both fun and educational. TJ our tour guide did a fantastic job! The people that were in our group were all nice and I believe everyone enjoyed all the different food and fruits that we tried. Definitely bring your appetite. Even our 25 year old son who can eat a ton, had to finally tap out! Kudos to TJ again, he’s knowledgeable and very laid back!
Tj was an amazing guide! Had a great balance of history, food knowledge and giving the guests time to get along. Can’t recommend this tour enough, it’s a must! So much food, and able to take home whatever you can't finish. Very local, very good, and the best sashimi you'll ever have!
