Paul the tourguide was excellent! He told us lots of things about Old Hollywood. He answered all my questions about the stars on the Walk of Fame, especially the ones who are for theater stars outside the Pantages Theater. I loved the mural in the Frolic Room bar. Some of the bars look a little seedy from the outside. I am glad I was with a tour guide who brought me inside, because now I know that they are wonderful places.
This is a great tour to discover places you would never find alone. Our guide Paul was fantastic. He took us to really cool speakeasy bars and had incredible knowledge of the area and its history. Great rooftop bar with views and food. Highly recommend this tour Thankyou Noel & Tracee
Great, small tour. A great way to get out on the town as a solo traveler. The guide was very entertaining and knew so much Hollywood history!
The ending was excellent but we visited a lot of cool bars and places we would definitely go back to and the food was great
Our guide Sam was very knowledgeable about the history of each destination. The Roosevelt was the best stop and now we have planned a trip to this hotel next month
Sam was AMAZING! The places he took us were so iconic. By the end of the night I felt like Sam was a friend I had known for years and were just hanging out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! Can’t wait to do another tour !!!
We had a terrific experience. Our guide Sam took us to a variety of venues. He provided historical and cultural background at each location. His knowledge and enthusiasm for Los Angeles and its history is infectious. We even had a chance to dance! We would highly recommend this tour and our guide Sam.
Loved the couple we were on tour with. Star Wars bar good. Guide did nothing. Hardly any information. Food was good but we were sort of rushed. Plus we were charged 198 for 2 people instead of 190 like it said. Either way not worth money at all
We're sorry that these guys didn't seem to enjoy the tour that much. All we can say is that the guide adjusts the tour according to a reading of the guests and Mike must have felt that these guys were happy with the level of information. He's definitely an expert on LA and guests can ask all the questions they want over the 2.5-3 hour tour. Also this group did visit 4 bars, instead of the standard 3. The payment issue sounds like something to do with Viator, since they booked on their platform. Nevertheless, if these guests want to reach out, we'd love to give them an opportunity to try a tour with our sister company in San Francisco, if they ever visit.
Mike was a great guide! He had a wide variety of bars to take us to and was very knowledgeable about interesting Hollywood history. Thanks Mike!
Matt, our guide was friendly & personable. A fountain of history on the SpeakEasy Bars we went to and the surrounding area. Felt like we were bar hopping with friends instead of a tour. Wonderful evening!
