Our guide Millie was great! Her van held 10 of us, 13 would’ve been cramped. In the town of Richmond, we’d recommend a quick bite & vanilla slice at the bakery. We spent too much time looking for lunch & was very short changed on shopping & checking the town out. The wildlife sanctuary was good. We sadly did not get to Mount Wellington and are not sure why. We specifically asked to be back at port with enough time (30 mins or so), to get a drink at a place she pointed out to us. We didn’t get to do that because 2 other couples opted for a wine lunch and we had to go there. We are not sure how our itinerary ended up being part of theirs. That was disappointing.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Lunch at Pooleys is one lunch option but I’ll update the listing here with some other suggestions in Richmond to help future guests find a good option - in addition to the bakery. All the best and thank you
Maybe not good for younger children because of wine tasting...but a great day. Loved alllof it. Wildlife Wine (pizza) and views from Mt Wellington
Thank you Lynn. Thrilled you enjoyed your day in Hobart!
