The hike was great. Just outside the city and easy to get to. But what really made it was our guide Tony! He had good stories to tell and really took time to share knowledge about the area and the hike itself. Definitely do this one and check out the temple. And, get Tony if you can!

Bergin was Flipping hilarious. He was like a mountain goat running around and encouraging us up the trail. It was definitely harder than we thought but the views were worth it! We saw so many bugs and mushrooms and two cats! Once he found out we liked taking pictures of them, Bergin helped us find them along the trail. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to see some amazing scenery but being more water than you think you'll need. I think besides the end view, the buddist temple was my favorite. So beautiful and quiet. Just amazing.
I was happy to hike Bukhansan with so wonderful ladies from Alaska. Even though the weather was so hot and humid, you and your friend walked very well. Did it in early Feb and it can be chilly. Had a wonderful guide (Bergen) who was knowledgeable in the history of the mountain. Accommodating and offering alternative route which is equally breathtaking.

We had a great day on the mountain, hiking with our guide, Bergen Park. We went to Munsubong Peak, where we had an amazing veggie sushi lunch, and enjoyed a 360-degree view of North and South Korea. On the way down we went to Seunggasa Temple, where we climbed the 108 steps to see the monk carved into stone, cerca 1024. Bergen knows this mountain. You will enjoy his company and expert knowledge. We had a wonderful day!
