Description
This is an 8 kilometer E-biking ride that visits famous attractions as well as hidden gems in Kyoto such as the Kinkakuji, Daitokuji Temple Complex in order to visit the Koto-in and Zuiho-in, Imamiyajinja and the Kitanotenmangu Temple.

- Must arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. We depart at 8:30, 9, 12:30, 1pm. If you are late and miss the tour you will not be refunded.
- Guests who choose not to participate/cannot ride a bicycle will not get refunded
- Tours cannot be changed to different departure times less than 24 hours before departure.

We spent a wonderful morning with Shawn on a private e-bike tour around the hidden sights of Kyoto. Despite the sweltering heat, we saw fascinating, calm temples (where we were sometimes the only visitors), learned a lot, and experienced a side of Kyoto we would never have seen on our own. Was not experience worth the money.
Thank you for sharing and we do understand your frustration. We are sorry the tour did not work out on the day. However, we do want to clarify what happened. Our guide was at the meeting point as scheduled, and we did speak with you by phone that morning. Unfortunately, you were in a completely different part of the city at the time, which made it impossible for the tour to proceed. You then proceeded to claim that our guide did not show up on Viator to get a refund. We feel that that is important to address. We always do our best to accommodate our guests, but there is very little we can do when someone is not at the correct location at departure time. We appreciate you understanding our position.
A thrilling bike ride across Kyoto hills and forests of and the insightful visits to the temples and shrines was a perfect combination. Definitely recommend this tour for an authentic way to explore this beautiful city

I can't say enough good things about this excursion. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. The route was adapted to account for the hot weather. Drinks were included. Be sure to wear breathable clothing and comfortable shoes, and bring sunscreen with you.

This tour with Yuta was amazing! We almost cancelled our reservation because we had been on two tours in Tokyo that were terrible and it was really hot. We are all SO glad we didn’t—we had a blast with Yuta and we learned so much. Thank you Yuta! Also the ebikes are new, great, easy to use, and the ride through the forest was so fun!

Brilliant e-bike tour of Kyoto with Sean. We discovered places we wouldn’t have found by ourselves and really enjoyed the conversation and information from Sean. We appreciated the flexibility about which sites we visited and the grilled mochi stop was an unexpected treat. We highly recommended this tour- a highlight of our holiday.
