An early Saturday escape from Rome with a small group is never a bad idea. This tour takes you to visit more Roman and Renaissance history just far enough away from the Saturday hustle and bustle of Rome. Valentina helped make this tour great by sharing knowledge and history you can’t find at the sites. You’ll still make it back to Rome by 1:30pm if you want to schedule other tours as well.
Great day in Tivoli, the best guide Valentina!!
Art with water. Absolute mastery of using water to create masterpieces. Makes water shows in Las Vegas look amateur. Tour Guide was top notch (Gray Line I Love Rome by Carrani Tours).
Excellent time with our tour guide Valentina and our driver Renato! Pickup from the hotel was smooth, the company was responsive and easy to work with, and the guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you are looking to get out of the city and see beautiful villas and gardens!
Thank you so much for your fantastic review Kathryn! 🌟 We're delighted to hear that everything went smoothly from the hotel pickup to the end of your day. Valentina and Renato will be happy to know they helped make your experience enjoyable. 😊 Best regards, Gray Line I Love Rome
A magnificent visit, the guide Valentina and the driver Renato were absolutely amazing! We understood everything despite the fact that we do not speak English correctly, and she really takes the time for us. I highly recommend this duo! If I have the opportunity to return, I will contact them without hesitation! Thank you very much, Valentina, for the visits and the stories told, and thank you, Renato, for the transportation.
It truly makes us happy to know that you had such a memorable experience with Valentina and Renato. 🌟 We're especially pleased to hear that Valentina made sure everyone could follow along and enjoy the tour, taking the time to make it accessible despite the language barrier! 😊 Thank you for your recommendation—it means a lot to us! We enjoyed our 5 hr trip to Tivoli. Valentina was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of both villas. The conserved ruins of the ancient Villa Adriana were quite extraordinary. The gardens and fountains in the Renaissance Villa D'Este were beautiful and so cooling in the heat of the day. And Severio, our driver, entertained us at the beginning and end of our excursion by serenading us on his trumpet, which was a lot of fun. We highly recommend the tour.
Thank you for your review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day exploring the incredible Villa Adriana and Villa d’Este. It’s great to know that you enjoyed Valentina’s knowledge and enthusiasm. We’re also happy that Severio’s surprise trumpet performance added a memorable and fun touch to your journey—it’s always a pleasure to create experiences that go beyond the tour itself! Thank you for your kind recommendation! Best regards, Gray Line I Love Rome
We had an awesome half-day tour of Tivoli! Our guide, Valentina, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided excellent context for the sites we visited, sharing fascinating historical details about the villas. While we really enjoyed both locations, we were particularly enamored by Villa d'Este. The fountains there are absolutely spectacular!

Valentina, did a great job navigating a group that had English and Spanish speakers. She was knowledgeable and kept us entertained. Thank you for a wonderful tour.
These tours were excellent, very well explained and knowledgeable thanks to our professional guide Valentina.
Valentina was very kind to everyone, even though my mom doesn't walk very fast, she never left us behind, and when we had any questions, she gladly explained things to us.
