Great walking tour to interesting places. Our guide had a lot of background knowledge and was very informative.
Zana provided a walking great tour of Helsinki centering on the architecture of the city and it's relationship with its people and culture. There were 6 of us on the tour and we had many opportunities to have conversations and have questions answered. The 3 hours went far too quickly.
This was an excellent tour! The guide, Zana, was very knowledgeable on the history all of the locations, and was about to give some great suggestions on things to do in Helsinki. I highly recommend this tour!
This was an excellent tour that showed many great sites around Helsinki and provided lots of historical knowledge!
This was the best tour we have ever been on. The tour covered history, culture, politics and architecture. We saw a variety of different styles of buildings from the very old to the latest beautiful modern library. A truly inspiring tour. Our guide, Zana was absolutely delightful.
Friendly, well informed guide. We saw historic & pertinent sites that emphasized the history & gov structure of Finland. We visited libraries & shared spaces. We walked throughout the city. Beautiful tour & very informative as to Finnish socialization
The highlight of this tour was learning about the Finnish way of life and culture rather than just breezing through the major sights. We saw and learnt heaps.
Zana Balikci's city tour of Helsinki is a trip not to be missed. Not only did he focus on the history of the various buildings and their architectural influence, he even took us inside 3 libraries: Helsingin Yliopisto, Oodi Library and Academic bookshop. If you're a book lover, these places are "treasure coves" which shouldn't be missed, and Zana's knowledge of these places is laudable. Besides, he even recommended the "must-try" food items at Kaartinkaupunki. A value for money tour with a great guide.
The guide was informed and excellent in his presentation, as well as friendly and engaging. We are a couple in our 70’s traveling with our 14-year-old grandson from the USA and all three of us enjoyed the tour immensely.
Super knowledgeable, very friendly and fun. We had a great walking tour! Lots of information and a beautiful city! Highly recommend!!
