Very informative and covered all the highlights needed to orientate in Helsinki. Harry was great and was able to answer all our questions and provide additional information - we were very happy with this tour!
The tram tour was turned into a bus tour. We were notified that we were upgraded to a “car ride” with pickup. We boarded at the cruise terminal and spent 45 minutes driving through Helsinki from hotel to hotel. I booked the tram tour because my husband gets motion sickness. Obviously language was a problem. I would not have interpreted “car ride” as “bus tour”. Also, stops and entry points were also changed without prior notice. We were not the only ones in this situation. We exited the bus tour to find another tour. Cesar was our guide and he was tremendous. We’re were sorry to leave him. He helped guide us to the Central Station to try and find another option. We were refunded but still unable to visit the places we planned for. So..just be aware if your tram tour turns into a car ride.
We booked a 3 hour private tour but a person was added last minute per our tour guide. Our tour guide was taking the extra person on a ferry so she left us at the market after 2 hours. Very little past history was shared. Mainly drove by buildings.
Hi Mary Ann, thank you for the feedback, the tour you booked on Viator is a Group Tour by tram, it is not a private tour. On this day there were 2 bookings, one from you and one from a solo customer who booked the full tour with car ride, that was the main reason we upgraded your booking with car ride and pick-up from your hotel. This upgrade had been informed and acquired your consent in advance. Car ride might shorten the estimated transportation time on the way, the whole group got sufficient time and visited all highlights described in itinerary. Our customer service staff and guide tried best to provide optimal tour experience to our customers, we are sorry if it didn't meet your expectation. We appreciate your kind sharing, wish you all the best. Regards, Helsinki Tour team
Very enriching and complete visit over 3 hours , thanks to our very friendly guide who knew how to interest us in the different monuments of the city
The tour was very interesting and informative! Tanja was knowledgeable about the places to see in the area and the history. Thank you!
A good introduction to the city with public transport and facilitates further exploration on our own in an eco friendly way.
This was a very enjoyable tour where we walked, used the tram and a bus to see the famous sights in Helsinki city centre. We we were very lucky with the weather and also we were the only ones on the tour . As a result we were able to ask as many questions as we wanted. Well worth the money and a great way to get around
I had a wonderful time sightseeing. The weather prevented from staying longer at some sites. The guide was knowledgeable and well informed.
Tanya was a very knowledgeable and wonderful guide. She was genuinely concerned about the group. Kudos!
Great tour, including most of the city’s most important sights. My guide Harry was terrific, in addition to the history he offered a lot of information on how to navigate the city, things to see and do and what life is like in todays Helsinki. I highly recommend this tour,
