Pickup Locations & Times
The times listed on our tours are the pickup and drop-off times. To ensure guests can arrive on time for their tour we require a 45 minute window between a ship's arrival time and a tour's pickup time. Likewise, we require 45 minutes between the drop-off time and the ship's departure to make sure guests will be back before their all-aboard time. If you are arriving on a ship or staying at a hotel in downtown Juneau, you will meet outside, under the cables of the Goldbelt Mt. Roberts Tram (490 S Franklin St) at your pick-up time. Find a Coastal Representative dressed in bright orange holding a yellow sign that reads 'Coastal Helicopters' to be checked in. If you are staying at a hotel near the airport, you will be met by a Coastal Representative outside the main doors of the lobby. For guests who dock at AJ dock, you can call to request pickup at your dock - this will be scheduled automatically for the first tour after a ship's arrival. We will be contacting you regarding your pick-up details.

Most amazing experience but think a bit too much for 1 year olds . Only thing I was disappointed with is maybe having really puppies there for kids to cuddle . My 3 year old really was thinking this was part of trip . Dog sledding was a bit short .
Most memorable experience. Highly recommend. Safe and lot of fun with dog sledging. Our pilot was super nice and very experienced.
Very organised you meet 300yds from cruise port. Helicopter ride was great the views and scenery amazing. The dog sleigh ride was highlight for the hubby on it about 40mins. An incredible experience a must to do in Juneau !!
Every part of this excursion was a delight! Friendly staff worked well together. I felt safe in the helicopter and the dogs were wonderful! I think this morning will be the highlight of our whole Alaska adventure.
They cancelled on us about 30 minutes before our excursion time without any alternative options to reschedule. We had to pivot and instead booked a sea plane with another company and went jet skiing
Amazing experience, Well organised , informative and best experience I have ever done, The mushers were great and you could see the respect and love for the digs
Beautiful ride and friendly staff! We enjoyed the flight and dog mushing camp experience.
Experience of a lifetime! Friends assured me I could do it. So glad we did! I've had a hip replacement and still have arthritis in bothe knees and shoulders. Daughter-in-law did help steady me trudging across the snow... but it was an exhilarating experience 🤩
I know that value is a thing that every individual sees differently but for us, it wasn’t worth the price tag at all. We paid $800 per person for a 10 minute helicopter ride and a 5 minute dogsled. If you absolutely love dogs you can spend 10-15 minutes there petting them but otherwise the 5 minute sledding is all you got. It is an amazing setup that they have there, with flying the dogs by helicopter, setting up camp and living there with no water and power. The dogs do seem very well treated but in my opinion (and again, I know that each of us sees it differently) I would not pay over $300/person, $500 if you absolutely love dogs. In the end we got some rain and they didn’t have a covered place where we could stay. My kid didn’t have a waterproof jacket, only water resistant and she got wet in the cold. I did ask if there was a spot she could stand but was only told that the rain was gonna pass soon. Would I recommend the tour? For the right price, yeah. For $800? Never.
We absolutely loved the Helicopter to Dog-Sledding experience. The reps at the airport were friendly and helpful as they sized us for our boots. We locked away our valuables and headed to the helicopter. The ride was smooth with the most beautiful scenery. Once we landed, we learned about the dog camp and headed to meet our musher, Brenna. She was so good with the dog team and the dogs listened and followed her instruction. The dog sled ride was about a 1 mile loop. It was so much fun. The dogs were friendly and lovable allowing us to pet them. This experience is a must do!
