Helicopter Glacier Dogsled + Knik Glacier Landing- Anchorage Area

Description
The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses. Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After the tour the helicopter takes you to the lower glaciers where you will land on the hard ice between the crevasses to see the majestic blue melt pools. Total Tour time 2 hours - 1 hour on the glacier with dogsledding (aprox 30 min sled ride) and 30 min at the lower glacier near the crevasses and blue melt pools. Aprox 30 min of flight seeing total round trip

This was far and away the best Alaskan experience we have had. The weather was kind and every part of the tour and every driver, pilot, as well as the folk at the glacier were fantastic. While the dogsledding was brilliant I strongly recommend doing the extra glacier stop, it was spectacular!
This experience was absolutely amazing!! I was very nervous when we booked this but it turned out to be our groups favorite part of visiting Alaska. All staff were excellent from the minute we arrived. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and personable!! It was a smooth ride and the views were breathtaking!! The dogs and the staff on the glacier were also amazing!! All around AMAZING!!!
This is a MUST DO. The dogs were amazing. The glacier landing was incredible. The crew, booking agent, and helicopter team were all top notch.
This was an absolutely fantastic experience! We did the helicopter/dogsledding/2 glacier stop tour and I'm so glad we did! Yes, it's pricey, but this was honestly our entire family's favorite part of our Alaska cruise (and it wasn't even part of the cruise) and it'll be yours too. Everyone involved with the tour was fun and friendly; highly recommend!
Excellent experience. Great pilot and beautiful views. Highly recommend
Thank you for an amazing adventure and experience. The professionalism and fun of the team all made this experience one of my top adventures I have ever done. From check-in, to the helicopter pilots, dog sledding crew, to the dogs and cutest puppies. Thanks for accommodated my 82 year old parents. This family adventure will never be forgotten. I will recommend this to everyone that goes to Anchorage.
We travelled from Anchorage to Palmer for this experience. The helicopter ride was out of this world. We did Alaskan Huskies dog sledging on the snow. The best part was we got to do the mushing. There were 6 pups and enjoyed petting them. Later the pilot took us for a glacier landing. We walked on the Knik Glacier. In all, a beautiful experience.
On June 13 we took our grandkids on the Alaska helicopter tour. First we landed on a hanging glacier to go dog sledding. Although it was snowing we had a great time. It was so interesting to watch the dogs get excited to be picked to pull the sled. Our grandson got to help hook the dogs to the sled and be the musher for park of the ride. Afterwards the kids got to hold 5 week old Alaska husky puppies. They loved everything about the experience. Next the helicopter landed on Knik Glacier so we could examine the blue ice pools and taste the glacier water. So fun to walk around on the glacier. The helicopter ride scenery was a wonder to behold. Our driver, Kevin, picked us up and drove us back to Anchorage and had a wealth of knowledge to tell us. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience but be aware it is not an inexpensive excursion but well worth it.
Did not disappoint!! Liam our pilot was excellent. The view breathtaking. Dogsledding and snuggling with puppies was the highlight.
It is the best experience to understand what a glacier is, from its innermost parts with no possibility of accessing them by other means.
