Itinerary
Passing gentle rolling hills and dramatic coastline, we’ll cross the border with England to explore Bamburgh in the heart of Northumberland. The mighty Bamburgh Castle was the seat of the early Kings of Northumbria in the 5th century.
In the afternoon, have your broomsticks at the ready as we’re off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Alnwick Castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England. A long, rich history and magnificent medieval architecture makes it a film lovers’ dream.
After spending time in Alnwick, we make our way back over the border and in to Scotland. On our drive home we’ll regale you with tales of the turbulent past before arriving into Edinburgh early evening.

Amazing castles and beautiful scenery along the way there. Our driver Steve was a fountain of knowledge, explaining key sights along the way
It was nice to visit both castles. Many hours on the bus but I also found the sun at Alnwick Castle, at least for a while, so it was worth it. I recommend going if you have a lot of time available because in the end a whole day is gone.
It was an amazing experience! We got to see two beautiful castles and the seaside. On a warm July day it was delightful! Our guide Torva was the best! He’s a well-read guide and historian. Our whole trip was filled with stories of queens and kings and their life stories. The bus was comfortable. The pick-up point is well-organized.
Very well-organized day with magnificent landscapes and castles. I highly recommend it!
Amazing day, Lord Torm Is a very friendly guide!:)
A very great & unique trip With great stops. Our guide Teagen led the tour perfectly and shared a lot of interesting information during the drive about the individual stops as well as about Scotland.
Great tour. Great tour guide! Rich was super funny and had a great time! I recommend!
it was great, Rick was great, was sunny
Guide Laurie: English only. I know, but it is difficult as a result regarding the timing and appointments, especially understanding them well. Clearly, time for the visit to the 1st castle was too short. Absolutely make it clear to people that without buying tickets (even if it means choosing only 1 castle), without buying any tickets, it is pointless. Good timing for Alnwick Castle.
Visited Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle. Both were lovely. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The ride was comfortable and informative. Loved the Scottish playlist.
