This was one of our favorite experiences while in Athens! The directions were very easy to follow. We were part of a large group of 15, but it was still very personal. The dinner was outstanding. If we had more time, we would sign up for lunch.
Great time! The chef had lots of energy and was very helpful.
A not to be missed experience. Fantastic tuition with expert teacher and amazing food. Great value for money. Make sure you are hungry before you go! Highly recommended.
We did this cooking class on our second day in Athens as a fun activity to break up days in the sun exploring the city. It ended up being one of the best memories from our trip! Within view of the Acropolis- It was a small class- only 5 of us, and our chef walked us through creating multiple dishes in less than 2 hours. We made stuffed grape leaves, fresh tzatziki, Greek salad, cheese pies, an eggplant dish resembling moussaka and even little baklavas. The chef instructor was so fun to learn from- teaching techniques, explaining why each step influences the dish, and having us sample along the way. In between each, her sous chef would come over and clean up the stations so quick, replacing prep materials and helping us flawlessly transition to the next dish. Once all the items were completed, they served our lunch to us and we were shocked at how we cooked something so delicious. It was such a cool experience and I’d highly recommend it! Just a quick note- from the road, the building doesn’t look that awesome and isn’t in the best part of town, so definitely make sure you have a driver. Once you go inside and venture up the elevator though, the cooking studio is clean and beautiful and worth the visit. If you’re looking for something fun to try with your family or a small group of friends, this is a great way to learn (and taste!) some culture.
What an amazing display of Greek cooking. We had an awesome time with new friends. Couldn’t be happier that we experienced this opportunity. Thanks
This cooking class was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Athens! From the moment we arrived, the instructors made us feel so welcome and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. What really stood out was how incredibly patient and hands-on they were throughout the entire experience. They took the time to explain every step, answered all of our questions, demonstrated techniques, and made sure everyone felt comfortable participating—regardless of their cooking experience. You never felt rushed, and they genuinely wanted everyone to succeed. We learned to make an incredible spread of authentic Greek dishes, including creamy tzatziki, delicious dolmades, a flavorful stuffed eggplant with moussaka filling, crisp and refreshing Greek salad, and the most amazing baklava. Being involved in every step of the process made the meal even more rewarding, and everything we made was absolutely delicious. This was so much more than just a cooking class—it was a wonderful cultural experience filled with great food, laughter, and memories we’ll always cherish. I left with new cooking skills, authentic recipes, and a much deeper appreciation for Greek cuisine. If you’re visiting Athens, I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. It’s perfect for couples, families, solo travelers, or anyone who loves food and wants an authentic, interactive experience. It was worth every minute, and I would happily take this class again!
Good food. Friendly environment. Accommodating. Authentic. Lots of questions & answers. Yummmmmmmmm.
This cooking class was a truly unique and thoughtfully designed experience, and I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. It was the perfect way to unwind at the end of our trip to Athens. Maria was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The meal preparation process was easy to follow, and we ended up making an incredible amount of food. Every dish was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy, clean, and fun. The only minor challenge was figuring out exactly which building the class was located in. We eventually found it, but a sign outside would make it easier for first-time visitors. One of the best surprises was receiving a collection of the recipes at the end of the class, so we can recreate these delicious dishes when we get home. I highly recommend this activity.
Marilena was amazing! She explained everything so well, she was patient and laid back and funny! She made us feel at home. The class ended up being just me and my daughter. I think other companies would have canceled due to low attendance but she didn't. The food was delicious. I couldn't recommend more highly ❤️
What a great cooking class! Marilena was a wonderful instructor and host and her space was perfect for our class size. She made each recipe feel easy and doable to make. We made some INCREDIBLE food that we are excited to try making at home. Bring your appetite!
