Nice trip for families, highly recommend. The views are wonderful and you get to snorkel and see many variety of beautiful fish. Kids loved it.
We had an unforgettable experience snorkeling at Hanauma Bay in Honolulu! The crystal-clear water, colorful tropical fish, and beautiful coral reefs made it one of the highlights of our Hawaii vacation. Our kids had an amazing time and couldn’t stop smiling the entire day. It was both fun and breathtaking, and seeing so much marine life up close was something we’ll never forget. If you’re visiting Oahu, this is a must-do activity for the whole family. We highly recommend it and would definitely come back again. Thank you for such an incredible experience!
Driver was excellent. The process to get into the bay was realtively quick and there were tons of fish in the water.
It was an amazing experience with an amazing driver 10 out of 10 overall and would recommend to everybody
Fun unforgettable experience. The place was beatiful and got to see many different types of fish. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable.
This experience was amazing. Our tour guide, Diego, was such an amazing person. Full of knowledge about the Island and had a wonderful personality. My three boys enjoyed his stories.
Unfortunately, our snorkel gear did not work well. I took my seven year old. Her snorkel was too big for her face and could not seal. She didn’t really get to see anything because of this. My gear as well did not properly fit, though the guide had said it was one size fits all for adults. I have been snorkeling before, so it wasn’t an issue of not knowing how to properly use it. I made it work, but I was disappointed that my child could not experience seeing anything beyond the shallow waters by the shore. The guide had said to contact him if we had issues with equipment, but we only had a few hours, and that would’ve required packing up our things and taking the trolley back up to meet him and potentially wait for him as he was not on site.
Aloha, Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your snorkeling experience, especially your daughter’s, did not meet your expectations. Our goal is for every guest to have properly fitting equipment before heading into the water. We carry multiple mask sizes, including smaller options for children, and we’re sorry that the fit wasn’t right in your case. While our guides are available to assist with any equipment issues, we understand that returning to the meeting point during your limited time at the bay would have been inconvenient. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll use it as a reminder to place even greater emphasis on ensuring every guest, especially our younger snorkelers, has a comfortable fit before entering the park. We sincerely apologize that your daughter missed out on the experience you were hoping to share with her. We appreciate you choosing us and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
You can rent gear when you arrive. Wasn’t worth the money we paid. It wasn’t what I expected. Literally going to the beach with snorkeling gear. Meh. I think this was my tourist brain mistake.
Mahalo for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience wasn’t what you were expecting. While guests can rent snorkel equipment directly at the beach, the cost of renting gear there alone is typically higher than what many of our guests pay for our package. Our service includes round-trip transportation, snorkel equipment, and helpful information from our guides to make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
We had such a great time! Beautiful location! Pick up and drop off was very smooth. We would definitely do again!
Today was a low point. I lost money on the tour. I couldn't get to Hanauma Bay because I didn't know where and when to meet. If you're staying at a hotel near Waikiki Beach, I think the pick-up and drop-off location is better near you. There was no way I would know where it was good to be listed with the names of hotels I didn't know about, so I chose it at random, but I didn't know the difference between the meeting point and the pick-up point. I thought it was the same place, so I went there because it was the 6:00am meeting, and the tour van came but I was told you weren't. I'll try again on the 27th, but will it work?
