At 4:30am, our driver/guide will sign your name and meet you at the Yangshuo hotel lobby(Pick up at 4:00am of Guilin hotel) and trasnfer to the Xianggong hill and we need 50 minutes driving from Yangshuo hotel(1.5hrs from Guilin hotel). Xianggong Mountain is located on the west bank of the Lijiang River between Huangbu Shoal and Nine-Horse Mural Hill. An ascent of the mountain is rewarded with a bird's eye view of Lijiang River winding through countless peaks. Each year, a good number of photographers are attracted to Xianggong Mountain by the light and shadow, sea of clouds, and amazing morning glow at sunrise. You will have an opportunity to capture the picturesque scenery yourself while watching the sunrise with this half-day small group tour!
Next, go to the Yulong river for the bamboo boat and need 30 minutes driving from Xianggong hill. The bamboo boat lasts for 60 minutes and will be 2 persons for each boat. The Yulong River, known as 'the Little Li River', is a tributary of the Li River. It starts in Northern Yangshuo County. Featuring the dramatic karst landscape, silky water, and ancient bridges, the river is a great place for bamboo rafting.

- The child less than 5 yrs old or 90cm and the adults more than 70 yrs old can not take the Yulong bamboo boat
- The Xianggong hill only has a step to reach the top of the hill and has 400 steps, need 10-15 minutes to walk up of the hill
- The bamboo boat can take 2 people and each boat for 160KG. If more than 160KG, you need to buy one extra bamboo boat ticket by yourself due to the tour package just included one bamboo boat ticket.

The most perfect day!!! Xianggong Hill was closed unexpectedly so Andy recommended us to go to Damian Hill instead. It requires a little bit more of physical effort, it took us around 30 minutes to go up the hill with Peter our guide and it was amazing! The view was incredible Peter took pretty cool pictures of my husband and me. After the hill we went to the Bamboo Boat place but there was a hour wait for a boat so Peter suggest we rent ebikes and he could take us to nice not touristy places to experience life in Yangshou so we did! What a day I have to say, we saw so many beautiful places, took some sun, say hello to local people and of course Peter took beautiful pictures of us :). We drove around farmland and along the Yulong River. We caught the sunset on the road so we stopped at 2 perfect spots for pictures. Finally Peter took us to Moon Hill for another quick picture and then to our hotel. We loved Peter he exceeded our expectations, he’s super nice, funny and he speaks very good english.
The Yangshuo area is breathtaking! And with a guide like Andy knowing when to be where to enjoy this beautiful scenery is one of the best ways to enjoy your stay in Yangshuo! Communication was easy and everything went as planned! Thanks Andy!
