The hot air balloon flies for about one hours depending on the thermals. The pilots are all experts and have many years experience piloting the balloons around the region. Be ready to skim the tops of the mandarin orchards, meander through karst peaks and soar high above the landscape reaching heights of 1500 meters on this memorable balloon ride. Note:The child less than 4yrs old and the pregnancy period woman during 3-7 month can NOT take the hot air balloon.

Hot Air Ballooning offers a overlook of Yangshuo's karst scenery, which is spectacular from the ground, but nothing compares to floating above it. You will be delighted by the hundreds of vertical sided hills, rivers, traditional villages and the patchwork of small farms. Your adventure, with the security of our Guilin Tianxing ballooning company, includes return transfers from your hotel in private vehicles. Flights are approximately 60 minutes but may be cancelled, with a full refund, in the unlikely event of bad weather. Your English speaking driver will drive you to Yangshuo Dutou Pier, from where the balloon embarks. Itinerary: Pick up at Guilin/Yangshuo/Xingping hotel: 04:00am--06:00: Guilin hotel pick up and trasnfer to Yangshuo Dutou village. 06:00--07:00: Enjoy the Hot Air Ballooning sunrise tour. 07:00--08:45: Back to the Guilin/Yangshuo/Xingping hotel.
Since the hot air balloon will start from Yangshuo Dutou village and very close the Li-River and we can see the river from the hot air balloon sunrise tour.

Really beautiful!!! Good organization, super nice and helpful staff and the flight was perfect! 45 minutes or so, at sunrise, just my best experience in China by far! The staff doesn’t speak English, but it doesn’t matter, we still manage to understand each other. Ps: be careful it takes at least 2 people to fly. I recommend without hesitation. Just magic. 😊❤️
This as such an amazing experience, and the scenery was beautiful. We took off from some fields at the country side and flew approximately 30 km over the fields and landed again. The team was very professional, so we felt like we were in good hands. Afterwards we also had a good conversation with the pilot, who had almost 20 years of experience. Even though you see mostly the same landscape during the trip, it is still very much worth it. The view is just completely unique. I don't think I can ever forget the beauty, and how it is 100 times more incredible than my pictures.
