Half Day Snowshoe Hiking Adventure in Levi Lapland
Description
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to move in deep snow. Dating back at least 3500 years, this ancient form of winter hiking is ideal for exploring the Lappish nature offering great opportunities for photography. The tour is guided by a professional photography guide who will also teach you some tricks and techniques for your own landscape and nature photography. We will take breaks during the tour and one longer break will include building a fire and enjoying some light snacks and warm drinks. Tour starts at our meeting point in Levi where everyone will get their equipment ready for the day. We provide you with high quality snowshoes, especially made for deep-snow hiking. After a drive to the wilderness location, we will enter the deep snow in the pristine Arctic nature. If we are lucky, we may encounter some wildlife during our tour.

Meeting point for guests staying in CENTRAL Levi area is Beyond Arctic Levi office in Myllyjoentie 2, 99130 Sirkka, just next to Tourist information. Central Levi area: Leviraitti, Hotel Hullu Poro, Design hotel, Hotel K5, Hotel Sirkantähti and similar within same distance. Meeting time at Beyond Arctic Levi is 15 minutes before the tour. Pick-up included outside of central Levi area: at your accommodation within 10 kilometers of the Beyond Arctic Levi. For pick ups outside central Levi area, meeting time is notified according to your location, usually 20-45 min before tour start time.

We were taken by guide Jan. He was a very friendly guide. Took us to nice places and told us about different things of the area. All in all highly recommended to go on this tour. We also had some sausages in a kind of tipi tent. Really very nice all!
So beautiful to be out among the snow covered trees. Professional photos taken during the trip were a huge plus.
Wonderful trip, magical views and keitoffe guide (Lucia ❤️). We were five (ages 10-69) and would book again immediately. The total group numbered 8 people. Our first time hot berry juice too 🤤.

Fantastic walk! Very nice to do, but tough to walk uphill with those snowshoes on. But thanks to our guide Lucia, who took the pictures and told a lot and could show the most beautiful places, it was really worth it! Highly recommended!

The four of us went for a snowshoe hike with our guide Teemu to the top of a hill. It was a beautiful trip with beautiful views and the sun on the horizon. Teemu was very kind and has taken many pictures of and for us. In the end it was just a little too hard for me. But I do look back on it with pleasure. Thank you Teemu!
We had a fantastic day with this Safari! We really enjoyed a wonderful walk through a national park. Meri was our guide. She told us a lot about nature, took incredibly beautiful photos and was also very pleasant!
