We will tour all through the river arts district of Asheville. You will see some hidden treasures, unique street art, and visit our favorite coffee shop!
Riding through downtown Asheville is an incredible experience on two wheels. You’ll get an unobstructed look at all of the unique and historic architecture as we ride.
You’ll cruise through multiple neighborhoods around town and take in views and art from all kinds of unique locations that only our guide knows about!

Scam! No one responded to any question via the app or WhatsApp number. Went to the location to start the tour and no one was there!
Do not book this tour.....Tour guide was a no-show in an abandoned parking lot. Did not answer our texts and calls. Read the reviews....there are no recent reviews....that should have been our sign.
Amazing experience! Best way to see all of Asheville, not just downtown area. Recommend doing this early in your stay. Tyler was an amazing tour guide. He maps out the coolest routes with lots and lots to see. He points out interesting landmarks and points of interest along the way. Oh, and seeing it by moped is super fun and exciting. No prior experience needed. This will not disappoint!
We had so much fun on this excursion! Tyler was awesome and took his time with us so we were comfortable on the moped. He took us to all of the “hot spots” but also to several hidden gems in the city. This is a great way to see the city. Would absolutely recommend this for anyone visitor or resident of this beautiful city. We will most definitely do this the next time we are here visiting.

Our 4 hour moped tour of Asheville was the fantastic high point of our 5 day visit to the area the end of June. Tyler, our guide and owner of Shaka Street Tours Asheville, was friendly, laid back, and knowledgeable. After giving us a lesson on moped operation, we were led on a private tour of Asheville including historic areas, beautiful vantage points above the city, the river arts district with breaks at a coffee shop and bakery as well as mini-stops throughout the tour to point out features and fun facts about Asheville. Thank you Tyler for capping off the celebration of our 39th wedding anniversary with a wonderful A++ moped tour! Melinda and Lawrence Picard Note: Tyler does not charge much for the half-day moped tour so we encourage everyone in the future to treat him to a coffee and doughnut at the bakery and coffee shop stops.

This tour was one of my favorite excursions during my two-week trip. I had an absolute blast. Tyler was knowledgeable about the area and had numerous restaurant suggestions and ideas for things to do in the city. I wish I had scheduled this tour at the beginning of my trip so I could take advantage of everything he recommended. Tyler was a fantastic guide, and I was thrilled to have experienced Ashville on a scooter!

Ideal way to explore Asheville as a whole including multiple neighborhoods, River Arts District, downtown. Ty, a very warm and patient instructor/guide was such a pleasure!! He covered so much ground on this tour and had wonderful recommendations for dining and exploring. I had a blast zooming through the winding and hilly paths and very grateful for Ty for this experience =))

This was an incredible experience! We came to visit from out of town and it was a perfect way to explore all of the neighborhoods in Asheville and learn more about the area! Our guide was informative, kept us very safe, and allowed us to have SO MUCH FUN! We would definitely recommend this tour to any of our friends and family! Totally worth it!!!
The highlight of our trip to Asheville! Tyler was so friendly and patient with a first time moped rider! He showed you all his favorite, local spots around the city, took photos as we went and even extended our time because we had a slight rain delay.
