I recently went on a half-day waterfall hike with Lindsey, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Lindsey is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fun facts along the way, which made the hike both educational and entertaining. Our conversations were engaging, full of laughs, and she has a natural way of making you feel comfortable. She was extremely organized and thoughtful. The pace was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, and having Lindsey as a guide made the experience even more memorable. I would highly recommend this hike to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, fun, and great company. Lindsey truly goes above and beyond!
Thanks so much for the kind words. We're so glad you enjoyed your hike!
We had an amazing full-day hiking experience with Blue Ridge Hiking Company. Our guide, Jenna, was prepared when we arrived with two options for our hike. She shared the routes with us and we decided on the 7 mile loop taking us up to an amazing lookout area with 1000-2000 ft elevation variations on the entire route which took us by streams and waterfalls. She packed a wonderful lunch which we enjoyed by a mountain stream. We highly recommend Blue Ridge Hiking Company for your next trip to Asheville area!
Thanks for choosing us and for your kind words! We're so glad you enjoyed your time and hike with Jenna!
For great hiking experiences in western north carolina I always use Blue Ridge Hiking Company. Their guides are always experienced, knowledgable and very organized. Recently I did the Fall Colors Weekend Hiking Trip led by Bev MacDowell. Bev took us on a great two days of hiking to see the fall colors. The highlight was the spectacular views on the Art Loeb and Investor Gap Trails to the Black Balsam & Tennent Mtns. Outstanding and my all time favorite hike in WNC at least for now. Highly recommend Blue Ridge Hiking Company for all your hiking trips in the WNC area.
Thank you for your kind words and recommendation! We're so glad you enjoyed your time and hikes with Bev. The fall colors are certainly a draw as well!
I book this half day tour for me and my teen daughter as my B-day present. We absolutely loved every minute of it. Our guide Amy was very organized, informative and dedicated. She took time to explain to us about each spot we pass by as well as certain vegetation/ mushrooms on the way. She was punctual, I’ve a got a few emails/reminders prior to the trip as we were traveling from Florida. I absolutely recommend this company for all the reason above. Thank, Amy!
Thank you so much for choosing to spend your birthday with us! We’re honored to be part of such a special day for you and your daughter! We’re thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the hike with Amy. She’s a wonderful guide who truly loves sharing her knowledge of the forest, and we’re so glad that care and dedication came through. We also really appreciate your kind words about the communication and organization. It means a lot to us. We hope you’ll join us again the next time you’re in the mountains!
One of the best times ever! Our guide, Bev MacDowell, was fantastic (and someone we now consider a friend). Our two hikes - in DuPont State Forest and Hot Springs - were perfectly curated for us in every respect: distance, skill level, and views and scenery. She also kept a close eye on the weather and generously rescheduled our second day hike to make sure we didn’t get wet. In addition to the great information Bev provided about our hikes, She and Blue Ridge Hiking provided great snacks and hiking poles (which we’d never used, but which our great). We’ve already decided we’re coming back to Asheville to go hiking with Her again!
Thanks so much! We look forward to hiking with you again.
Adam was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definately go on another guided hike with Adam as the guide.
So glad you enjoyed your hike with Adam. Thanks for hiking with us!
Our guide, Eli was amazing, my husband and I were celebrating his 80th birthday! We took the morning waterfall hike. We had a wonderful trip, Eli, as a naturalist, pointed out so much to see and learn about. She kept our pace perfect!
We're so glad you enjoyed your hike! What a wonderful way to celebrate such a special occasion!
I especially enjoyed Eli’s commentary on history of the area and incredible knowledge of plants and trees we encountered along the path. She is so personable, attentive to everyone’s needs. She’s the perfect nature hiking trail guide.
We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your time with Eli. Thank you for your kind words!
