Itinerary
The Huaypo lagoon has an incomparable beauty surrounded by the mountain ranges of Salkantay, Chicón and Verónica; in addition, indigenous communities live in the surrounding area and you will also be able to observe a great deal of Andean flora and fauna.
Moray: At first sight an amphitheater, it is really an agricultural research center built by the Incas in the form of terraces. They experimented here at different altitudes achieving up to 20 microclimates with different temperatures. Maras: This is at 3,380 meters above sea level fed by a subway spring, which were already exploited in pre-Inca times. These pools of pink Andean salt, each barely five square meters in size, make for spectacular scenery.
