Guided tour of Trieste / walking tour of Trieste with an authorized guide

Description
Come and discover the real Trieste, a cosmopolitan city, with a professional and kind guide who will introduce you to all the important places that have marked the history of this wonderful city. From a Roman colony it became the Habsburg port city called "the little Vienna on the sea" nestled between the mountains and the luminous sea. In Trieste the characteristics of a Mediterranean port blend with the architecture and atmosphere of a Central European metropolis. During the tour we will discover history, literature and art, starting from its magnificent Piazza Unità d'Italia, which opens onto the Gulf of Trieste, surrounded by splendid buildings. We will visit its Roman remains together, the medieval part with the splendid cathedral and the Habsburg part, walking along excavations, churches, squares, palaces, the grand canal and historic cafés. Trieste awaits you! Come and discover it with this fantastic tour.

Elrich was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Highly recommended
Mrs. Elbrich Bol made the tour extremely interesting and very informative. We (a 14 person group from Graz - company outing) were ALL delighted, and we don't always agree. But on this tour, we all agreed: We have never had such a great tour on our various company outings. With a lot of knowledge and interesting details, Mrs Bol made the tour of Trieste so entertaining that everyone could (happily) have gone further.
The guide never showed up for our walking tour even though I was charged for the tour a few days ago. Since we’re only in Trieste for a few days, an alternative tour is not possible.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the guide not arriving as scheduled. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen personal issue, the guide was unable to attend and couldn't inform you in advance. We deeply regret this situation and assure you that Viator will issue a full refund for the booking.
A really great, vibrant city, Restaurants and coffee houses very well attended, so a Reservation makes sense.
Beautiful visit. Elena is a trained and kind guide, who accompanied us on a fascinating and interesting tour of the city.
My daughter and I had a wonderful and memorable experience with Elbrich. We were picked up at Gorizia train station in Friuli and then drove to beautiful scenic vineyard sites. Elbrich chose a beautiful castle for a wine tasting - the Castelo di Spessa. We toured the bunker and tasted 4 of their wines. Had a delicious plate of meats and cheeses too! Then we went to Miramare Castle on the Adriatic coast. We were dropped off in Trieste. Elbrich is extremely knowledgeable and very personable. We definitely recommend hiring her!
Our cruise ship disembarked in Trieste instead of Venice. Therefore, our travel agent arranged for us to have this wonderful walking tour with Elbrich. Who knew there was so much history within this beautiful city! We spent two and half hours walking around the central part of the city learning all about its history, culture, and architecture. Elbrich was knowledgeable and charming and we highly recommend her services. You won't be disappointed.
Very good walking tour with a great guide. We learned a lot about the history of the area and had a good overview of the city.
This walking tour of Trieste was rich with the history of the area while walking amongst many of the most important sites! Most of the walk is not too challenging. The only exception is the walk to the Cattedrale do San Giusto Martire, which is all uphill. But the view of the city is worth the effort!
My girlfriend and I stayed a weekend in Trieste and we did this guided walking tour. The guide was good and kind and had the official license. He took us to so many places we wouldn’t have discovered on our own and we were never bored because he knew how to tell us the story in a captivating and fun way. Trieste is beautiful and the tour taught us not only the history but also the habits of the Triestini and typical places. In short, I recommend this tour, we enjoyed it very much.
