Itinerary
We’ll drive for an hour and a half to the Potato Park in the Sacred Valley, where we’ll visit an Andean family that preserves the agricultural and textile traditions of the Inca ancestors. Here, you’ll see many varieties of potatoes and enjoy a walk by the lake to observe traditional farming methods. Before the walk, we’ll prepare a pachamanca, an ancestral dish cooked underground. When we return, lunch will be ready for us to enjoy.
After exploring all its agricultural and textile areas we will have lunch in a local restaurant, where native hands prepare exquisite dishes based on hundreds of varieties of potatoes, after a delicious lunch, we will head to the Inca site of Pisac, which is located 40 minutes by car, in Pisaq we will have enough time to explore this incredible Inca site such as the terraces, the cemetery and the religious sector.
Then we will have the opportunity to visit the Pisac market where you can see jewelry, ceramics, handicrafts and locals selling their products. After the market, we will return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel, end of the tour to the Peru Potato Park.
