Fabulous. Looked after throughout by super friendly guide Lucy. Spectacular views, and amazing to explore around the base of Old Harry Rocks.
We did the guided tour to Old Harry's Rock. I would highly recommend it. We were really well looked after and we had an amazing time. Worth doing while in Dorset.
We had Kevin as our guide and it was honestly the best sea kayaking experience we’ve had. The combination of expert guidance and stunning coastline is phenomenal. We were beginners but at no point felt unsafe or out of our depth. I would highly recommend this tour as a fun way to experience what the area has to offer! (Just to note that payment for parking at the National Trust middle beach site can take more time - had to phone justpark due to poor signal - so arrive well ahead of schedule!)
Fun 2 hours. Felt well supported if it had been required but also independent. Kevin, our guide, was very friendly. Told us a bit about the area and enjoyed our little foray onto the beach by Old Harry before turning back.
Amazing trip perfect conditions and wonderful host coach and leader Dan
Dan was absolutely brilliant. Super friendly and lots of interesting information about the area. Worth every penny.
We went as a family of 4 - two adults and two children (10-14) and we had Daniel as our tour guide. Three of us had never been kayaking before and all of us were comfortable and felt safe with the introduction, safety information and guidance during the tour. We kayaked to Old Harry Rocks and took amazing photos during the kayak and on old Harry Rock. Would definitely recommend and all of us would gladly go again during another holiday!
Highlight of my stay in Dorset! Our guide Lucy was so friendly and professional and the whole session was 5/5 for safety and fun. I came solo and the group was lovely and a nice size. Stunning scenery and a great way to experience the coast. I’d say great value for the level of kit provided and time on the water. Definitely want to come back and try the foraging expedition!
This was the HIGHLIGHT of our week long holiday to the Jurassic Coast - and that’s saying something for a fossil obsessed family!!! We were a little nervous and didn’t really know what to expect - but we were all so pleased we did it and the tour was SO much better than we could have imagined. Visiting from Australia with a teenage daughter and travelling with family from London, and everyone had a brilliant morning. The scenery, the birdlife, the satisfaction of paddling yourself … all amazing, but safe to say that our Guide, Dan, was the reason it was an exceptional experience. Professional, encouraging, enthusiastic, knowledgable … just the best! 100% recommend. Only improvement would have been if I had known about the seaweed spa experience in advance - Sae Seedweed (it’s next door and the huts are super cute!) Thank you Dan - a family experience we won’t ever forget
Took a 2hr Kayak experience to Old Harry from Studland and it was brilliant. I would highly recommend this. Our instructor Dan was friendly and informative, but also thorough about safety. He took a lot of pictures and sent them to us a day later. 3 of us in our sixties made up a group of 8 of all ages. This is definitely worth doing.
