On this 5-hour Grand City Tour, your guide will discuss the history and uniqueness of Vancouver. Tour downtown Vancouver including Stanley Park, Gastown, Yaletown, Chinatown, and Granville Island Public Market. Experience that special vibe that makes this city one of the most cosmopolitan places in the world.

After 10am pickup from your downtown hotel, you'll drive through Vancouver and westward toward Stanley park, the largest Urban Park in North America. Visit the totem park were your guide will explain the carvings and cultural notes throughout the park. There are natural wonders from 1000 year old trees to the great history of the area we proceed through the west end to Shaughnessy for the grand house viewing and arrive at the Granville island public market for lunch after our tour on the island we head to The Olympic village and Yaletown for a mix of modern and old before heading to fabulous Chinatown. Then head to Gastown, where your guide will explain Gassy Jack's story and how Vancouver became the major trading port it is today. If time allows we also have an option to visit the 238 flavor ice cream palace Le Casa, then back to your hotel and on the way your guide will mention a few good restaurants and other activities to complete your day.

I do not pick up in Richmond or do i drive to Richmond after the tour, that is not part of the package, I will pick up at any hotel in downtown Vancouver,or burnaby and will drop off at the same hotel after the tour. residential pick up is available please call the tour company to fine tune pick up times Pick up is out front of your downtown hotel, if you are staying in a hotel in Richmond take the Canada line to (Waterfront) station and exit at the convention centre route, pick up is in front of the Pan Pacific Hotel 999 canda place.

Fantastic experience to see Vancouver. Lawrence Tours did a fabulous job of telling us about the history and ecological part of Vancouver.
Our knowledgeable guide, Michael, took us on a comprehensive tour of the city and good info about history, architecture, local life. We were given the choice of several different restaurants for lunch (at our own expense, of course )and chose the Banana Leaf, a Malaysian restaurant which we all enjoyed. Stop for ice cream later and enjoy a stroll through Granville market. Michael also highlighted the many ways in which Vancouver has worked to minimize impact on the environment. I highly recommend!
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area. Toured all different parts of the city. Great stopping point for photos. He was fun to be around. Loved the many stories and jokes! We recommend Michael to all who come to Vancouver.

Probably the single best tour experience we’ve ever experienced ! Michael couldn’t have been more accommodating! Due to a missed flight (Air Canada mess up) we didn’t arrive in Vancouver till midnight and turned lights out at 2 am the night before our scheduled 10 am tour ! We spoke directly to Michael and explained the situation ! He arranged to pick us up at 11 am despite having another couple on the tour! So - it all worked out and it was a fantastic day ! Didn’t get back to our hotel till five pm - totally worn out but very happy. This tour was better than our entire cruise to Alaska ! A must do experience ! I told Michael that I’d like to publish his life story ! Everyone should do this tour ! You’ll never forget it or get a better introduction to a new city !
Michael was very knowledgeable about the history of Vancouver. If you only have a few hours to tour the city this is the tour for you. Michael was both cordial and professional. We rode in a very comfortable van and stopped at several important points. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel on time. Very convenient.

It was a very good tour and our driver/guide, Michael, was excellent. Our group was very small with four and it was so comfortable in the van sharing our experience. We had a great lunch at a Sandbar restaurant. We were fortunate that it was a sunny day in the low 80s. A beautiful city for sure.
Michael is an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide with many good stories about Vancouver, its resources and its ecology. The van was comfortable, the number of stops just right, and we got an overall good experience of what Vancouver has to offer.
