The customer service is the worst in business coming from a customer service industry. Would not recommend this company to anyone. So disappointed. Skip at all cost
The crew was amazing, they did everything to help make this experience a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Over priced for what was a lacklustre experience, which was very little actual time in the water. Would not recommend.
Very friendly crew. Prioritized our safety and the care of ocean creatures. Good for families but a little scary to be out on the ocean after dark.
Michael and Jesse were very knowledgeable and very accommodating. I felt very safe the whole trip. Thank you
The boat crew were nice guys. It was a fun night on the water. Star fish point was interesting. I would come back on a day trip,
Our tour guide was a no-show. Despite traveling an hour each way to the designated meeting point and arriving early to avoid missing the tour, we waited over an hour on the dock. We checked the parking lot and saw other groups from more reliable tour companies heading out on their adventures. We confirmed with all the boat tours to make sure we didn't miss our guide, but no one arrived. We also tried calling, messaging, and texting the numbers provided with zero response. Still, there was no response by 9am the next day. Ultimately, we ate at the restaurant, the designated meeting place, confirming we did not miss our guide. We expect to be compensated for the tour and the cost of travel to and from the meeting spot.
The actual experience was wonderful - crew on board very knowledgeable and helpful. However there were many communication gaps with the office and no phone numbers to call, only messages via viator to which they do not respond. Our situation was a little unusual in that we were requesting to be picked up at Kaibo but returned to our hotel on Seven Mile Beach. The boat was 30 minutes late arriving to pick us up and if one of the other tour operators hadn’t helped us we had no way of knowing whether or not we’d been forgotten. Then no one on the boat seemed to be aware of the different drop off request. The only confirmation I had was our reminder email which was titled “bioluminescent bay drop off at hotel”. It all worked out and as I said the crew on board were great but I would have appreciated better communication options.
The captain and staff were wonderful. I just don’t think it makes any sense to go to starfish point at night. It was cold and windy and you had to get almost all the way in the water and we only saw two starfish. I went back to starfish point the next day just driving there, and the water was warm and we walked in it and we saw tons of starfish. It is just not a night activity. Seeing the blue plankton was very cool. That was a great experience. I really think that they need to pair that with something other than starfish point. Maybe just a sunset cruise with wine and cheese, followed by the bio experience.
This was an absolutely magical experience! The tour was great and the boat captain / tour guide / photographer were excellent and very friendly and informative. You'd definitely want to go on an evening where there is less moon, because what you could see from the boat was just ok, what it looked like swimming was pretty great, and what it looked like with the snorkel gear they provided was astonishing. Too much light definitely makes it harder to see though. Wish our kids could have seen it with us.
