Itinerary
Get ready for an exciting, unique adventure as you swim among the stingrays -- some of the most docile sea creatures in the world! Featured in National Geographic Magazine, Stingray City is the Cayman Islands’ most popular site. Here, 30 to 40 gentle Southern Atlantic stingrays swim freely in 3 to 5 feet of crystal-clear, current-free waters, waiting to see what you've brought them for lunch. It was created by accident in the mid-80s when fishermen returning to port anchored in the calm waters of the Sound to clean their catch and discard bait overboard. The stingrays, drawn by the smell of the fish, quickly became accustomed to the “free meal” and stayed. Today, the rays regularly dine on squid provided by divers and snorkelers. Native Way instructors will show you how to interact with these incredible animals in the only place in the world where you can do so in the wild.
Star Fish Point At this location, you will delight in the hunt to seek out beautiful Caribbean starfish. Easily located at this site, the magic begins once the guest finds a starfish. The beauty and color of these incredible creatures give you a vibe mixed with awe, peacefulness, and happiness. This location is approximately 3 feet deep and suitable for individuals of all ages.
Coral Gardens A coral reef covered in 10 feet of clear, turquoise water, Coral Gardens features some of the most spectacular formations found in the world. Here you'll encounter an incredible variety of tropical fish, stunning Moray eels, amazing underwater plants and an array of other sea life.

Wonderful crew, easy bus to the boat, stingray city was great, our guides got some stingrays to stay with the group so we could take pictures, back right on time with no issues getting back on our cruise ship
We loved absolutely everything about this tour! The boat (Trippin Out) was spacious, the group size wasn’t too large, the captain was so funny and personable, and our guide grew up on the island and was so passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the history of Grand Cayman. The Coral Gardens were absolutely gorgeous, and both gentlemen made sure everyone had plenty of time and pictures with the stingrays! Definitely a tour to book!
This excursion was absolutely fantastic. We were picked up from our hotel and we left from the marina. They were courteous and professional the entire time. They even spent extra time with our 7 year old to make sure he was safe and comfortable in the water. Wish I could give higher than 5 stars.
Amazing experience! This excursion was the highlight of our trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grand Cayman. Charles and David were fantastic...professional, knowledgeable, and humorous. There were only 18 people on our tour, so there was plenty of space and shade on the boat, making the experience very comfortable. Our excursion included three incredible stops: the coral reef, Stingray City, and Starfish Island. Each stop was absolutely worth visiting. They even surprised us with an extra stop to see and swim with sea turtles at a second reef, which made the day even more special. The crew made everyone feel safe and comfortable during our interaction with the stingrays and took the time to capture photos for every individual and group. At the end of the tour, they treated us to a scenic cruise through the canals to admire the spectacular waterfront homes. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were included, which was another great perk. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. This truly was an experience of a lifetime!
Wonderful experience with Native Way Watersports! Captain Charlie and Captain Brent were awesome, made sure everyone had a great time, were super knowledgeable about all the sea life, great guides and making sure everyone got to hold and kiss a sting ray! The best part is that the tour was not over crowded - just a few families, absolutely perfect because it allowed them to provide attention to everyone. Very highly recommend!
Phenomenal experience! Snorkeling, starfish, stingrays were all wonderful. Captains Charles and Brent on the Trippin Out boat were great - personable, knowledgeable, clear with the instructions, and helpful. Good value for the experience.
This is the team you want to be with. They are knowledgeable and very friendly. My child was nervous to get in the water with the stingrays and the captain himself jumped in the water to show it was safe and helped her personally. I would highly recommend.
This was an amazing experience! It was a windy day so rough in the ocean but still amazing. Captain Sheldon was fantastic. Great relaxed energy, excellent with kids, and you can tell the stingrays know and love him. He was patient with my 7 and 9 year olds, was informative, and it seriously was the best excursion we have ever been on. My son cannot wait to do this again. The group size was small and friendly. We did this in lieu of a Disney Cruise excursion and would do it again.
Captain Charles and David were AMAZING! This was definitely a highlight of our trip. On our way to stingray city, the captain found a sea turtle and stopped the boat with food ready. He encouraged anyone that wanted to get in the water with the turtle. They made sure we had ample time to snorkel and kept a watchful eye on what was around as. Charles spotted a barracuda that was very interested in us, and explained they are attracted to shiny objects. He had his snorkel mask on and made sure we were safe. 10/10 recommend Native Charters and the boat Trippin' Out!
This excursion was awesome. Captain George and Captain Brent did an amazing job with thoroughly explaining everything. Captain George even assisted with taking pictures. If you are stuck on making a decision, here is your confirmation. Overall a great experience. 10/10
