Accompanied by a passionate local Guide, you will explore Lyon’s two iconic districts on this 4-hour gourmet tour combining gastronomy and heritage. You will taste local products during 5 carefully selected tasting breaks serving lunch. This tour is led by a family-run Lyon company, proud to offer a warm and authentic experience. It will allow you to stroll from the elegant peninsula to the unmissable Old Lyon. You’ll visit the must-see places in Lyon as well as lesser-known places, with light and unusual anecdotes. We will open the door to Lyon institutions as well as smaller houses, each run by men and women who will share their passion. A gourmet walk that will show you the strong link that exists in Lyon between history and gastronomy while sharing a good moment of conviviality!

Natalie was an amazing host! She was knowledgeable and warm and very informative going into the history of the Lyon food scene. Lyon is such a great city to experience food, I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to deeper their knowledge in the food scene. The food was divine, and we were very full by the end of the tour! With a wide selection of foods and wines and cultural history 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Loved the cheese. Nicolas gave a very good in-depth of explanation of the history of gastronomy in Lyon. Really enjoyed the tour. The ice cream flavors were unique and amazing.

Tour guide Amily was wonderful, very informative, courteous, friendly, gracious, caring, and helpful. She was a blessing and made my Lyon experience delightful. My tour got changed to one that didn't include the lunch (the other tour didn't have enough signed up), but I think I got a partial refund. Thank you.
Nathalie was a great and genuinely engaging local host. She shared little nuggets about Lyon’s history and culture that felt natural and added a lot to the experience. The only thing that took away from it a bit was the group size. Eight people felt like a lot and made it less intimate than it could have been. Also, a few guests arrived late, which threw off the flow while Nathalie tried to get everyone back together. It would probably help to have a clear policy that if you are more than 15 minutes late, you forfeit your spot so the experience stays smooth for everyone else.
What a great 4 hours spent learning about the local history of Lyon and tasting some fantastic food and wine/beer. Shirine was a fantastic host/tour guide.
