A unique guided tour to meet the wines and winemakers of the Rhone Valley North. I am Justine PONCET, founder of SUR LES SENTIERS DE L'OENOTOURISME. I am your local Guide, who knows the region well and will know all along the way how to tell you about the history, estates, wines and secrets of the Rhone Valley. You will make stops to enjoy the magnificent views from the coasts! You will discover the Syrah and Viognier grape variety as well as Marsanne and Roussanne. You will enjoy exceptional white wines and red wines. You will discover the most prestigious wines of the Rhone Valley such as AOP Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage or Condrieu. I drive you in my luxury vehicle and everything is planned so that you just go to enjoy your half day with us. I am here to share my knowledge, answer all your questions and accompany you so that you spend an unforgettable half day.

Itinerary
You will pass through several villages in the Rhône Valley on the way. We will stop to admire the vines planted in the very steep slopes.
We will make our first stop near the village of Chavanay for a first tasting in a wine estate. Tasting between 4 and 6 wines.
We will then discover the second wine estate. Tasting of several typical wines of the region. Between 4 and 6 wines.

Wonderful day in beautiful area. Informative, but mostly fun. Great way to see the region. Would recommend to anyone wanting see a bit of the area and explore the wine.
Justine was a fantastic guide! She is knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly passionate about the wine industry. She went above and beyond to make our tour amazing and informative. We tasted lots of wines and enjoyed the beautiful region of the Rhône Valley. This tour was perfect for me as a wine newbie and my mom who knows much more about wines. The pickup/dropoff was also very convenient in the Place Bellecour and there was so much to explore nearby. I’ll take another tour with Justine as soon as I can return to Lyon!
Guide arrived one hour late showing off our dining plans. First winery was less than friendly or informative. Second location had us climbing up a rocky unstable path which was hazardous for flat shoes worn by ladies. Wines were mediocre at best. Do not recommend.

Justine was an incredible guide. Very knowledgeable and provided great tid bits (of both knowledge and food!) It was a rainy day but that did not detract from a great tour.
