Meet your guide and hop on an electric golf cart at our central Rome Office.
Brief stop at the Pantheon, the best preserved ancient Roman building in the world. It still stands after 1900 years!
Drive through the historic city center and see Piazza Colonna with the magnificent Column of Marcus Aurelius, one of only 2 preserved triumphal columns in the city and is 1800 years old!
Stop at the Trevi Fountain and throw in a coin... or three! Possibly the most famous fountain in the world, after it appeared in Roman Holiday, the Trevi Fountain is designed by architect Nicolo Salvi its name derives from its predecessor Aqua Virgo, which was constructed by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa in 19 BC.
Admire the famed Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna. The 138 steps were originally built to link the Spanish embassy to the Holy See at the base, to the church of Trinità dei Monti at the top.
Reach Piazza del Popolo the northern gateway of the city. This was the starting point of the Via Flaminia, the road to Ariminum (modern-day Rimini) and the most important route to the north.
Drive past the Mausoleum of Augustus. The Mausoleum of Augustus (Italian: Mausoleo di Augusto) is a large tomb built by the Roman Emperor Augustus in 28 BC on the Campus Martius in Rome, Italy.
Take in the magnificent Piazza Navona. Piazza Navona is built on the site of the Stadium of Domitian, built in the 1st century AD, and follows the form of the open space of the stadium. The ancient Romans went there to watch the agones ("games"), and hence it was known as "Circus Agonalis" ("competition arena"). It is believed that over time the name changed to in avone to navone and eventually to navona.
Drive through Rome's historic center cobblestone streets. The We will drive along via Giulia, a street of historical and architectural importance in Rome, which is about 1 kilometer long and connects the Regola and Ponte Rioni
See the ancient Roman temples of Largo di Torre Argentina. Between 1926 and 1929, the demolition of an old neighborhood within Via del Teatro Argentina, Via Florida, Via San Nicola de 'Cesarini, and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II for the construction of new buildings, unexpectedly brought to light one of the most important archaeological sites of the city: a large paved square with the remains of four temples from the Republican era.
Brief Stop in front of the Campidoglio grand staircase. The first square to be built following Michelangelo’s criteria of a uniform design, in modern Rome, stands on Capitoline Hill (Capitolium), where a very ancient village was located and where numerous temples were dedicated to Roman gods.
Take in Piazza Venezia with the impressive monument to Victor Emmanuel II, known as the Altar of the Fatherland. The square takes its name from Palazzo Venezia, the 15th-century Palace built by Cardinal Pietro Barbo, then donated in 1560 by Pius IV to the Republic of Venice to make it the seat of the embassy.
Drive through the charming Monti Neighborhood. Rione Monti, Rome’s first ward (rione). The neighborhood for the cool and young, the old and vintage. For those who want a serving of cobblestone, antiques and artisans, with a side order of beauty, great food and some of the bars in Rome.

- Please note that there are 7 seats per vehicle and tours are run with up to a maximum of 2 vehicles and 14 participants. Vehicles will travel together (like connected train carriages) on tour and guests all listen to the same tour guide through the use of earpieces. In some occasions guests who book together may be asked to separate between the two vehicles.
- Please also note that it is very easy to get lost in Rome and it can be at times difficult to find a free taxi, especially if you are 5 or more people and need 2 taxis. As this is a group tour, we cannot delay the tour for late participants. Please give yourself plenty of time and arrive early to our office, the tour meeting point. If you know you will be late, please call us so we may find a suitable solution.

- Note on Infants: unfortunately, due to safety regulations, we are unable to accept infants under 2 years of age. Children from 2 to 12 years old are welcome and Biga tours can provide car seats or boosters for free. Please notify us of each child’s age so that we can provide the appropriate seat size.

The streets of Rome are full of life and crazy to navigate on your own if you plan to rent a car. We kept the rental cars parked and hopped into golf carts to do this tour. The best way to see Rome! Let someone else drive! Since the golf carts were small, we could scoot right up to every iconic sight so easily. No big bus to navigate in traffic! Learn about the next stop as your golf carts glides through traffic safely but quickly. The tour guides were great and even accommodated stops to get snacks and drinks while touring. So easy. So fun. Amazing history to see. Highly recommend over car or bus tours.
I want to give an extra heartfelt shoutout to Biga Tours and specifically our tour guide Pollyanna. We walked into their office completely last minute (after another company we booked no-showed on us) and Biga went out of their way to rearrange their schedule and accommodate us on a golf cart tour. Pollyanna came off of her break and took us on a tailored, private tour of every one of the stops we requested! She made our tour feel like we were there with a close friend. If I could give them six stars I would! Thank you Biga and Pollyanna!!
We decided to take a golf cart tour because of the extreme heat in Rome! We were so surprised how much fun we had! Amber, our tour guide, was super knowledgeable and made it fun for our whole family! The short stops were the perfect amount of time to learn about the history and get the perfect photo! Again, kudos to Amber. It’s still one of the best things we did in Rome!
Polly was brilliant for our tour. Very informative with her knowledge of Rome. Did not feel rushed at all. The gelato stop halfway is to die for🍧. Tour went so quickly. As we were at Colosseum the day before & were staying near their office see kindly gave us an additional 20min private tour on the way back to be dropped off. I would recommend to book first day to get an understanding of the city & where attractions are. Will do again if we return next year.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Our experience was amazing! Our guide (Polly) was very knowledgeable and affable. She paid special attention to the needs of a family member that had recent knee surgery and was using a walker. Ourfamily highly recommends this company!
We had a great time! Although we've visited Rome many times, this was a fun way to spend a very HOT day in Rome. The ride was very comfortable, the guide and driver knowledgeable and fun. Honestly...I'd taken a similar tour a few years prior to this one and it just can't compare. I highly recommend Biga Tours...fun and relaxing.
Absolutely amazing experience! We had a small group of 7 people, me and my mum and another family. The experience was amazing, we did it the first evening that we arrived in Rome and got to see lots of the maina attractions and learn lots of history. The guide (Phillipe) was so knowledgeable and had a true passion for the history of Rome, there was nothing that he didn't know. He was happy to answer any questions we had and I think we even saw a few bonus sites!! The Gelato stop was dreamy and a welcome break in the hot weather! Would definitely book this trip again!

If you’ve never been to Rome, I can see how this tour could be a good way to get the lay of the land and see many of the city’s major sights in a short amount of time. However, having visited Rome before, I personally didn’t feel it was worth the cost. The tour mainly consisted of being driven from one landmark to the next. At each stop, the guide gave a brief explanation, then dropped us off with a set amount of time to explore and take photos on our own before returning to the golf cart. For the price, I expected a more guided experience with the guide accompanying us at each stop, sharing more history, and offering to take photos along the way. The only time he offered to take our picture was at the final stop. The golf cart itself was comfortable (except the seat belts), but if we had been on a full tour and been ended up in one of the rear-facing seats for the entire experience, I would not have been happy. One thing that also rubbed me the wrong way was the comment at the end that “the only thing we like more than tips is a good review.” It felt like an unnecessary prompt for a tip. Overall, it was essentially a chauffeured ride around Rome with brief commentary at each location. Ironically, our taxi driver from the cruise port to our hotel pointed out many of the same landmarks upon arrival in Rome for less money. If you’re a first-time visitor and short on time or have limited mobility, you may still find value in this tour. It just wasn’t the experience I expected given the price.
