Pick-up in Reykjavík and guided transfer to first sightseeing stop
Golden Circle is the most popular day tour route from Reykjavik. It traverses spectacular landscapes and includes three Iceland's iconic destinations: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park.
Strokkur is the little brother or the famous Geysir which not active anymore. Strokkur though is still very active blowing water up into the air every 7 to 10 minutes. We'll usually stop for lunch at Geysir for about 40 min At this stop can you also purchase food.
Gullfoss is a waterfall of the White River Hvítá. It has two steps of 11 and 21 meters and there are pulling more 100 m3 water through it at a second.
The Thingvellir are both historically and geologically a important location. Here was the first icelandic parliament founded in the late 900s and this is also the a visible division between the eurasian and the north american continental plates.
Kerið is an iconic volcanic crater of 55 meters depth.

Our bus driver was very experienced! The tour stops were beautiful! It would have been nice to have a local guide with more history to Iceland instead of an American guide. The bus rides were long and it would have been nice to have more information about the country. We were near the front of the bus and it appeared that the tour guide napped on the longer drives. Note: polotivd have no place on a tour bus!
It was a lot of fun being able to see stuff outside the main city, Juliana was super friendly and a pleasure to interact with
This excursion was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and everything was well organized. Our driver, Kris, made the journey comfortable, and our guide, Darren, was knowledgeable, engaging, and made every stop even more enjoyable with his insights and enthusiasm. We learned so much about Iceland's history and landscapes. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the best of Iceland!

Our guide Sunny was informative and really well organised so the tour went smoothly. Amazing sights. You need to be able to walk quick to see all the best views as stops are quite short.
Accually that was an amazing experience. Darnen the guide was the funiest guy ever. The admission fee have been already covered so no need to worry. We had lots of time to visit everything, no rushing. The group was quiet but still one can feel cozzy. If you are here for only a couple of days, its a must be.
