The Golden Circle is the most iconic destination from Reykjavik. On this route you will enjoy beautiful scenery and visit Iceland's three famous spots: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park.
The Thingvellir are both historically and geologically a important location. Here was the first icelandic parliament founded in the late 900s and this is also the a visible division between the eurasian and the north american continental plates.
Strokkur is the little brother or the famous Geysir which not active anymore. Strokkur though is still very active blowing water up into the air every 7 to 10 minutes. At this stop can you also purchase food.
Gullfoss is a waterfall of the White River Hvítá. It has two steps of 11 and 21 meters and there are pulling more 100 m3 water through it at a second.
Kerið is an iconic volcanic crater of 55 meters depth.
Perhaps the highlight of the day is the time you will spend at the world renowned Blue Lagoon Spa. This natural wonder is famous for its healing waters and you will leave feeling renewed and reinvigorated.

This tour is long but the timeline never made it feel unbearable. It was a nice smaller group and we a nice tour guide. This is a must do plus ending in blue lagoon was a nice touch after a long day. My husband and I were so relaxed when we got back we took a nap. I will warn you where they take you for lunch had many options but it was expensive. Just prepare for it. Also I would bring a rain jacket when going to the falls.
Our guide, Hall, was awesome. He was fun-loving and being a resident of this area for a long time, had great stories about the history. We really enjoyed our time, and we highly recommend it!
We had the best time! Our driver who’s. Ame was very long and started with an S was the very best. He had jokes and was so helpful. This is one you don’t want to miss!
This was an amazing tour, with beautiful sites, amazing food, and most importantly an amazing tour guide. Siggi was respectful, caring, adventurous, so funny! You sometimes don’t know what you’re going to get with tours like this, but Siggi made this to her feel like we paidfour times the amount we did. He was knowledgeable about everything, and made sure to answer all the questions that we had for him about Iceland. The locations we stopped at were wonderful, and ending in the blue Lagoon was perfect. Nothing but great things to say about this tour!

Great tour to take if you come to Iceland, you get to see a lot in a day. Best part is the end of the tour with a stop at the Blue Lagoon. If you never been, highly recommended
