Loads of fun and we were right next to the giraffes. Gillian was a great guide and told us a lot of interesting information.
Beautiful and exclusive tour and subsequent walk with 4 giraffes, we were lucky and were all alone with the tour guide, who was very dedicated and shared a lot of information.
Incredible experience with our guide Kristoff walking with giraffes at Bellevue. We managed to get close enough to see these beautiful animals and felt 100% safe. Kristoff was so knowledgeable and reassuring while we observed them - including the largest male giraffe. We also saw warthogs, impalas, and 2 types of antelopes. An unforgettable afternoon
Had a great time on the excursion. Only issue was we booked for 3.30pm and the reservation went in for 7:30 am. It was awkward when we arrived at our scheduled time and they didn’t have the reservation. Thankfully the guide worked it out for us and we were still able to go.
After a short drive in the safari car we arrived in the grounds of the giraffes and saw the first ones from a distance, from there we continued on foot. After a short game, these extraordinary giants stood before us in their natural habitat - An unforgettable experience. In addition to this experience, I really liked our experienced guide, who told us a lot of interesting facts about the animals, but also about certain plants in the region, with practical examples. For example, there is a plant with whose branches you can brush your teeth, which was also used by natives. All in all a highly recommended experience.
Absolutely excellent. Alex our guide was brilliant. We got so close to these magnificent animals and Alex was great at giving us information and pointing things out. An amazing afternoon. I would 100% recommend it.
Very nice landscape and a great opportunity to be very close to the giraffes and to be surrounded by them and see how they eat and walk.
We had a wonderful walk with lots of information about the animals. The guide showed us a lot where the animals played a leading role and we were their Customers. This was a one in a lifetime expierence. Very impressive.
Unique experience and absolutely recommended. Fantastic and very nice guide who taught us a lot about the animals and nature. After we found the giraffes by car in the large park, we walked with them and got up close without hustling them. The animals had the opportunity to withdraw at any time, but watched us with a similar curiosity to us. Would repeat at any time and can really recommend the tour to anyone.
One of my most beautiful experiences in the wonderful nature of South Africa is the Giraffe Walking Safari in Bellevue Forest Reserve. After a warm and friendly welcome at Bellevue, our tour began with a ride in a safari car to find the location of the giraffes. Afterwards we continued on foot through the bush landscape to get as close as possible to the giraffes. That was special, but when we suddenly found ourselves standing in front of these beautiful, huge and graceful animals, we were speechless and full of admiration for these fantastic creatures. Standing up to these wonderful animals in the bush is an experience that cannot be put into words. Our experienced and very nice guide Roger was able to tell us so many interesting things, starting from the trace reading to the plants and of course everything worth knowing about the wildlife especially about the giraffes.
