Itinerary
Embrace the mesmerizing views of North Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar, including Ceuta and the Rif Mountains of Morocco as well as the Bay of Gibraltar and the Spanish towns along its shores. There are five notable buildings to spot on this scenic photo stop, Harding's Battery, the Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque, the Europa Point Lighthouse, the Nun's Well and the University of Gibraltar. Europa Point is also the location of Europa Sports Park which hosted the 2019 Island Games opening ceremony and since 2013 Europa Point has been the location of the Sikorski Memorial.
Take a picturesque journey up to the protected nature reserve in Gibraltar that covers over 40% of the territory’s land area, with stops at the most well known view points up the Rock! It is an area of considerable natural beauty and an important resting point for migrating birds.
A limestone cave location at the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, once believed to be the Gates of Hades, an entrance to the underworld. Although in a complete, natural state, this cave is beautifully lit, often used for performances. Earliest writings of this cave lead back to 45AD. Learn about the complex history of the cave and its various uses throughout the ages from ancient civilizations to modern day. Immerse yourself in the mystery and wonder that surrounds this cave through the tales and legends of the past. Don’t miss out on the fallen stalagmite that became too heavy and fell thousands of years ago, which now reveals its magnificent interior structure in a most dramatic way.
Gibraltar is uniquely home to the only wild monkey population in the whole of Europe. A great opportunity to view our wildlife packs living on the steep slopes of the Rock. Learn all about the history of their presence on the Rock, current maintenance and all the legends that surround these curious animals. All in all, a visit to Gibraltar would certainly not be complete without having seen the Gibraltar monkeys up close. It’s an experience of a lifetime and definitely not one that should be missed!

The guide was Richard and he was great
Very nice experience definitely worth it specially for whom have limited time there, Nikki our guide was helpful and kind
An absolutely brilliant tour! Peter from Blands Travel was absolutely marvellous! And Gibraltar is fascinating--we recommend this tour unequivocally, and promise you will love it!
The tour guide Angel, was humourous and informative. St. Michael's Cave was impressive. It was unfortunate we were limited on the tunnel museum; it was very interesting but we only saw a very small bit of it. The monkeys were very patient with all the cameras.
Thank you for your feedback, glad it was an enjoyable experience.
It’s literally a rock. What you can see from the bottom, you kinda get at the top. My recommendation would be to avoid the costly cable cafes or tour guides offering to take you up, and instead just crack open a nice cool beer from one of the cafes or bars scattered around, then imagine yourself at the top of the rock. I find that this tactic often works out much cheaper and saves a tonne of unnecessary energy being expelled. You’re welcome.
Thank you for your feedback, there more to the nature reserve and Gibraltar than the rock. At the nature reserve you have St Michaels cave, the macaques and the WWII tunnels if you opt for this extra option. Also the spectacular views of the Straights of Gibraltar
Absolutely chaotic organization. Bright spot: a very dedicated tour guide with great knowledge. However, very little is shown to you. We would not recommend this tour to anyone.
Thank you for your feedback. the organisation may seem disorganised when its a busy day as you have lots of tourists and busses with passengers. the tour has its duration as per the tour description.
The border is terrible; in the coach park, the bathrooms are disgusting and have been that way for years, the prices are outrageous, and friendliness is absent. Overall, if you want to waste time, come to Gibraltar.
Thank you for your feedback. The restrooms at the coach park I believe are kept maintained, this could have been a very busy day. The border we can't control either you are entering another country and there are border controls. you need to come with time.
This is an accelerated tour. Stops are 5, 10, 20 minutes. We felt rushed and would recommend a longer tour option.
Thank you for your feedback, these tours have there timings. will take your feedback onboard
A very shaky start. Meeting point was very unorganized, with an organizer with 0 personality, in a parking garage filled with diesel fumes! The bus driver, Peter, saved the tour with a great insite of the area.
Thank you for your feedback, glad it was an enjoyable experience
We had one day in Gibralter after coming off of a cruise ship. We found a taxi/small shuttle that took a group of 6 of us up to the Rock of Gibralter. We went to the Nature preserve and saw the St. Michael's caves. The Barbery apes were so much fun, just running around. It was a great experience and definitely worth it for the views that you get. We were even able to see Morocco across the way.
Thank you for your feedback.
