From start to finish it was great and informative
Firstly we sat at the bus stop half hour early to be told that it had been changed so was then one of the last on the bus. The conductor/ story Teller thought he was a comedian and quite rude, we thought it was a ghostly experience not a comedy show, we're quite bored. At one point it stopped by our car park so considered getting off, but as we had paid for it thought it may get better, another couple did leave. Truly disappointed after doing the Edinburgh one many times
Absolutely brilliant!! We read the reviews online and booked in advance of our stay in York.. and are so glad we did. A first-class evening from start to finish. The 1962 Routemaster is wonderful (we love "vintage vehicles" and were delighted to get a look under the engine before departure)... and the tour was exceptional. Informative, varied and utterly hilarious ... and utterly appropriate for all the passengers (of all ages). I won't go into details of the tour - because I don't want to spoil the surprises (but .. if you're reading this.. I suggest you go back to the "homepage" and book the tour immediately!) Everyone on the bus was captivated... joining with the jokes... and still laughing when we disembarked... (and as one of the last off the bus.. I took a look at the tips in the "Conductor's hat"... which was full... bearing testament to the fact that everyone had a brilliant time. Highly recommended...
It was really good and funny. The tour guide was doing an excellent job, he has a talent. The bus driver was great also.
What an amazing tour, took my son for his birthday , it was absolutely hilarious and worth every penny
Tour guide definitely made the experience, very funny and knowledgeable
Really enjoyed this trip. The guide was great and interesting as well as funny. Played the part well. Would recommend especially during the darker nights where the effects would be much better appreciated.
It was very good the bit scary good stories very well told by the operator loved the doulble decker bus tour around the haunts , we all got out of th e bus to show us old houses pubs butcher shops , the operator was excellent funny
Did the tour tonight and really enjoyed it. At first I thought the speakers were a bit loud but you get used to it. They told us about several ghosts and their stories and we got to see some nice views around the city that I hadn’t been to. The bus is a rickety old thing but comfortable and adds to the character. I also enjoyed the stop to visit the Shambles and the information given about it which I didn’t know. I’d sum it up as informative nonsense (in a good way)!
The Ghost Bus Tour was great fun. We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing!
