Oedo is an island with an area of 144,998m2 located in Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. Oedo Botania is a combination of botani (plant) and toopia (paradise), which means a paradise for plants, and the entire island is adorned with gardens and arboretums. Since the island was purchased by an individual in the 1970s, the entire island has been cultivated as a garden for over 40 years. Because it is geographically located in a relatively warm climate, beautiful temperate and temperate plants are growing. It is a natural farm with a total of 3,000 species, including 740 species of rare tropical plants. It was opened for a fee in 1995, and it became famous especially as it was filmed here for K-Drama “Winter Sonata”, and it is a place where you can see beautiful scenery and flowers in all four seasons.
Haegeumgang in Geoje Island is a beautiful and unique rock formation located on the southern coast of Korea. It is one of the island's most popular tourist attractions and is renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Its rock formations are composed of large and small rocks protruding out of the crystal clear waters of the sea. The largest rock resembles a traditional Korean musical instrument called Haegeum, which is where the stratum got its name. The area around the rock formations has been a popular destination for artists and poets for centuries. Amazing natural beauty and unique rock formations make for an unforgettable experience.

Geunpo Village Tunnels Built during the Japanese occupation in the early 1940s, the Geunpo Village Tunnels were originally intended as military facilities. Located in Geoje, the site offers both a glimpse into history and a unique coastal view, making it a must-visit for history lovers and photographers alike.
'Hill of Wind' in Geoje, Gyeongsangnam-do is called the Hill of Wind because it is said to be a hill where wind blows as it faces the sea. As a landmark of this hill, a Dutch-style windmill was completed in 2009, and it is selected as one of the best tourist attractions in Geoje, full of romantic and exotic atmosphere. The unique topography of this place is also one of the main attractions. It looks like you are on a hill in Europe. Looking out at the beautiful South Sea in the distance, you will feel open and refreshed before you know it. It is a must-see course in Geoje Island and one of the hot places.
Maemiseong - A unique, handcrafted seaside fortress on Geoje Island, was built by one man after Typhoon Maemi and now captivates visitors with its medieval-inspired charm and breathtaking photo opportunities against the East Sea.

This was one of the best, if not the best tour, I have ever been on. I loved everything about it, but what really made it special was the tour guide. Teo was absolutely incredible and a great guide. He was so easy to talk and made the experience extra special. If you can take the tour with Teo I absolutely recommend it!!!
This was an amazing experience I’m so happy I experienced it. Sherry did a great job being attentive and communicative with both Mandarin and English speakers. Super friendly and funny. Hands down would take this tour again. All of the locations were breathtaking. Geoje is such a beautiful island. Adequate time was given at each place. Some were a small challenge to get through as there were a few hills you had to go up and down but even walking at your own pace you’d still have enough time to enjoy each spot.
We had a great day trip to Geoje Island with our guide, Zoe. She brought so much energy and passion to our day trip. She is very attentive, and her warm personality made everyone comfortable. We had an amazing day trip to Geoje. Everything was perfectly organized, and our tour guide Sherry made the experience even more special. She welcomed everyone with a warm smile and created such a friendly and comfortable atmosphere throughout the day. We arrived as schedule and Zoe, our exellent tour guide, welcomed us cheerfully. She always paid attention to our needs, and was helpfull with taking our pictures and recommending other places to visit during our tour in Korea.
We have been in Busan before but this is our first time in Geoje Oedo Botania Island. This Geoje Oedo Botania Island Tour by Lecirt is a must try when in Busan. Allan was our English tour guide and drive for the day and he was super awesome. There was only 1 more guest beside us in the van so it felt like a private tour so best value for the money. Our guide was well informed of the history of the places we visited, assisted in taking pictures, set proper expectations and provided clear instructions. He was very friendly and a highly recommended tour guide.
The wonderful, all day excursion began (after pick up in Busan) at Maemi castle, but was highlighted by a boat trip to, and remarkable walk about Oedo Botania Island, and its beautiful gardens, sculptures, artwork and a museum detailing its founding. A day of interesting sites, walks boat ride and a stop mid-way for tasty seafood lunch. The tour was led by Shelly, with good cheer, care and local knowledge and guided our small, international group of folks from the four corners of the Globe, in English and Mandarin. Transportation was very comfortable, including pick up and drop off at one of two locations in Busan.
Our guide, Alan was AMAZING! He went above and beyond to ensure each guest had a great time! I’m physically challenged and Alan made sure I was not left out in those activities that required more of physical activity! Anyone traveling to Busan, South Korea— I highly recommend this tour!
