Absolutely brilliant!! We got to see so much more of Chester and learn so much too. The kids absolutely loved it too!!
Brilliant way to discover Chester. We had great fun trying to solve the clues set by Captain Bess. You really do need to look high and low to find the answers. Well pitched. Can’t wait to do another.
Really good fun. An excellent way to see Chester. It was great fun. A lovely way to spend time with friends
It was brilliant! Fun adventure with head scratching puzzles, we've got to now the city of Chester better with this activity. 100% recommend!
I have done a few of Captain Bess's trails before and they are always fun. I like that you can add friends to the chat so it's a collaborative effort to input the answers right, rather than only one person having access to it and being responsible for it. Will definitely do more trails as I visit other cities around the country
An awesome day out around our home city to take in sights and secrets that we had never seen before. A great family activity to bring new adventure and fun for, in our case, two adults and a 9 year old. Thank you for making these great online trails, we loved it.
We found this whilst we were looking for dog friendly tours of Chester. It was really good value and so much fun. It took us to places in Chester we would never had gone and taught us loads of things about the city, its Romans, the Cathedral and so much more. Highly recommended for a fun and enjoyable way to learn about somewhere new. We will definitely be looking it up for the next city we visit.
Absolutely brilliant - just the right length (around 4 miles) as one of us can't walk too far. No need for prior knowledge of Chester but we learnt lots about the city. So good that I've recommended it to a friend who is coming in May. I would contact you if you do others in other places?
Brilliant to hear it felt like the right length and taught you a few new things about Chester too. Thanks for recommending us to your friend! Ian 🦜
Great way to see different parts of Chester some clues tricky but we really enjoyed it
Glad you enjoyed exploring different parts of Chester, even if a few clues kept you on your toes! Thanks for the review. Ian 🦜
We had a fab time, some of the treasures were easier to find than others. It was also a lovely tour around the centre of Chester, with some tips on places to stop for refreshments. We learnt a bit too. I would recommend this.
Sounds like a lovely family outing – thanks for recommending us! Ian 🦜
