Itinerary
Start your adventure with a scenic drive from Chester to the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno. Stroll along its sand and pebbled beaches, wander its famous pier, and take in the stunning coastal views.
Next, cross the iconic Conwy Suspension Bridge into the walled town of Conwy, one of Britain’s best-preserved medieval towns.
Your journey continues to the historic walled town of Conwy, where you’ll have free time to explore. You may choose to visit Conwy Castle (additional cost), see the Smallest House in Britain on the marina, or walk along the medieval castle walls. This stop is also the perfect chance to enjoy a traditional Welsh lunch, and we recommend Fisherman’s Fish & Chips on the main high street.
The adventure continues as you journey into Snowdonia National Park, the second largest national park in the UK. In true BusyBus style, you’ll go off the beaten path and have the chance to spot native sheep and wild ponies before taking a short walk up the Ogwen Valley to capture some memorable photos. Many guests consider this the highlight of the day!
The tour then continues to the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, a perfect place to stretch your legs and explore. Here you can browse traditional shops, pick up souvenirs, and take a look at the old train station that adds to the village’s charm. It’s also an ideal stop to enjoy a refreshment — perhaps an ice cream on a warm day or a hot coffee when the weather is cooler.
The tour makes a stop at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, one of Britain’s most remarkable feats of engineering and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This true icon of Welsh industrial heritage offers a chance for those feeling brave to walk across the aqueduct alongside kayaks and canal boats. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture a photo from the middle, with the River Dee flowing far beneath your feet.

Had a great day out on the North Wales trip..Frank out driver was excellent.
We had a lovely experience on this bus tour. The itinerary was well planned, taking us to several beautiful places with decent stops and enough time at each location to roam around, explore, and enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed. Frank, our guide, was extremely competent, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout the trip. He created a fun and humorous atmosphere that kept everyone engaged and made the journey even more enjoyable!
Excellent tour. Great choice of stops - good variety. Timing was also good. (Helped that weather was excellent). The driver was brilliant often under very crowded road conditions. Highly recommend.
Ann was a wonderful guide in every way possible!
Great tour! Tour was paced perfectly. Great adventure in beautiful Wales!
Ann was a great guide. She continuously shared information as we drove throughout the day. Her timing for the activities at the various stops was perfect and pacing in general was wonderful!
Driver arrived late and was both stressful to be with and drove very fast - “because she had a schedule to reach”. Take your own train instead and you'll get a lot more out of it.

Very much enjoyed it. Saw various sites of interest with no driving or hassle. Got up to speed on the bus then hopped off to see the sites. The guide Shelly was interesting and fun. Was impressed with the variety she used to keep it interesting.

After a late start , trip content provided a good taste of the area and what there is to see. Anne the driver/ guide tried her best to amuse a quiet bunch except for one participant who didn't stop chipping in the most inane loud remarks which all tried to ignore ( but on 16 seater what chance) except Anne bless her. A major concern was the driving. We are not Amazon parcels being delivered. One handed driving whilst drinking from a can and , for the most part, whilst not. ..Clipping kerbs. All acceleration and braking. As a PSV license holder, passenger safety and comfort fell short of what I would expect. Considered alighting mini bus at first stop to get the train back. Glad we didn't in the end because the content was worth the price but standard of driving not for the faint hearted.
Hello, Thank you for making us aware of this and we will be right on it. We are glad you managed to enjoy the tour but as you said, customer safty is our priority and theirfore we will be taking this seriously and will look into it further. Best wishes, The BusyBus Team
Such an amazing day! We were unsure if this was something we were going to enjoy but I’m so glad we booked. A lovely tour of North Wales, seeing some beautiful spots. Our tour guide/driver for the day was the lovely Ann(e). Very knowledgeable and extremely funny. Some great tunes on the journey as well (as we did the Welsh tour all the songs were from Welsh singers/bands). I’d recommend taking raincoats because the weather can change quickly especially when you go into the valleys. The rain doesn’t spoil the day at all, you might not be able to get the best views but what you see is still breathtaking. The lunch stop was in Conwy lots of places to eat but we decided to use our time better and visit the castle (entry fee not included in tour). Well worth a visit! I’d suggest taking lunch with you so you don’t waste time eating out. The tour was well worth the money and lasts for 8 hours. A special thank you to Ann(e)! She made the day totally fab. (And yes I did find your selfie on my phone after 🤣).
