Full-day tour to the Rainbow Mountain from Cusco

Dive into the Vinicunca mountain or Rainbow Mountain with an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level. It's located on the way to the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, and its colorful composition is due to minerals. Dare to explore and enjoy the ascent to this marvelous place, where you can admire the beautiful landscape of the Red Valley. It's truly rewarding. The highlight will be when you reach the majestic mountain.

Itinerary
The tour starts with hotel pickup between 4:30 and 5:00 am. We'll head south of Cusco and make our way to Cusipata, where we'll have a delicious American breakfast included. Then, we'll continue our journey to the community of Phulawasipata.
We'll begin the hike to the Rainbow Mountain (5,080m/16,666ft) for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. For those who prefer not to hike, there are options to ride horses. Once we reach the Rainbow Mountain, we'll be able to admire a mountain turned rainbow; its slopes and peaks are dyed with vibrant shades of fuchsia, turquoise, lavender, and gold. We'll also have plenty of time for information and taking photos with our professional guide.
During our hike to Rainbow Mountain, we'll have the opportunity to admire the snowy Ausangate mountain.

The tour starts with the pick-up from your hotel. Please note that the hotels should be located within the historic center of Cusco. If your hotel is located outside the center, we will arrange a meeting point with prior coordination.
