On this tour to Playa Blanca Barú, you will live an unforgettable day on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The departure will start at 8:30 am from the tourist sector of Cartagena, if you are in El laguito, Castillo grande, Bocagrande and downtown, they have the benefit of being picked up at the hotel. From there I leave by land in an air-conditioned bus with all the safety protocolsm, it is a 50 minute drive to Playa Blanca Baru where you will be greeted with crystal clear waters and white sand. You will have free time to swim, relax in the sun and enjoy the paradise setting. At noon, you will taste a delicious typical lunch with fresh local options. Caribbean (fried fish or chicken, coconut rice, patacones, salad and soft drink). Then, you can continue exploring, relax in a hammock or participate in optional activities such as snorkeling. A perfect day of rest and fun awaits!

If the passenger is in the Bocagrande sector or neighborhood, the little lake and large castle will be picked up at the hotel, and if they are in another sector, they will have to arrive at a meeting point. Taking the delicious sea bath and the proper transportation the place is very precarious and charge up to use the bathroom
In general the Tour is not bad but there are things you have to take into account before buying it - The bus is very old, in the publication they say that it is air conditioned however it is not as it barely and has a little air - The beach is very nice but the harassment from vendors is really overwhelming, make a unique experience become really bad Real bathrooms are horrible and when I tell them they're horrible it's because they really disgust you can't say that's bathrooms really - The beach is really dirty there is no culture of cleanliness and it is very unpleasant to walk on trash But they already have their good points The guides are very friendly They took us back and forth at the point we agreed It is certainly an experience that I would not like to repeat again

If you’re looking for a quiet beach this isn’t for you. Starting with pick up at designated locations I was asked to be at location at a specific time. I arrived on time, but still waited an additional 30 minutes until the bus arrived. Once on the bus the drive to the beach still required a few stops to pick up additional people. I did not expect the trip to take so long and eat up most of my time (my fault on not doing my research). Once at the beach I was so disappointed with the amount of trash and lack of pride for Mother Nature. It smelled so bad getting to the designated spot. You have to pay for a chair other wise there is no where to rest. It is so crowed people on top of people. The water is not that clean due to the amount of crowding of people. When tou do go out to try to enjoy the ocean you have to be careful because boats and seado’s do are so close to where everyone is. You cannot swim out that far. The only thing I would recommend is the food. The fried fish was sooo good. Beyond that please do your research before booking.
