Overall, a great way to get to the 12 apostles and ocean road. My one complaint was that one Bathroom stop on the way there was disgusting. They stopped at some random parking lot with a bathroom. Bathrooms were so disgusting and there was urine all over the floor. Even a gas station would have been a step up from that. It was gross. The driver said it was the last stop for 2 hours, so I didn’t really have a choice but to use it. I also told him it was gross, but he was like “oh it’s okay”. No, it was disgusting. Find a better pit stop for your customers.
It's nice experience, was Chinese language tour guide but William explained in English whenever we stopped for tour.
We were told we would have an English guide and we got a chineses guide who spoke no English. We left the tour and the company is refusing a refund as they say we got some English. We absolutely did not get English. A passenger told us the driver said this is a Chinese speaking tour
We informed you at the time of registration that this product primarily features Chinese explanations, supplemented with English audio explanations. All communication with you was conducted in writing, and you were aware of this. We never claimed that there would be an English-speaking guide providing on-board services. Our vehicle had only traveled 10 kilometers out of the city when you decided to disembark and abandon the trip. Our driver dropped you off at a safe location, and at that point, the English audio playback had not yet started.
I was the only European, otherwise only Chinese. Explanation in Chinese only. Of course the ride was nice, but next time again Autopia Tours - small groups and super great guides
Vielen Dank!
Amazing day tour. Bob our driver kept things running on time. The tour was in Chinese. It did not matter to me, because I was there to see the amazing sites. Some audio played back in English.
We visit all the locations mentioned, we stopped in service station in Colacfor 15 minutes, then in the Twelve Apostles 45 minutes, Loch Ard Gorge for 30 minutes , Apollo Bay for another one hour, we stopped to another place to see the koalas before going to Apollo Bay for 15 minutes as in the location mentioned our tour guy driver , Mr. David Chen said in the morning someone who he knows went to the Kenneth river and there's no koala so it was amazing to manage to see the koalas , after we stooped at the Memorial Arch for 15 minutes and after we went Split Point Lighthouse for 30 minutes. This tour is not suitable for everyone, as all the tourists were Chinese and most of the explanations were in Chinese. Only me and my friend were talking English, so the tour guy, Mr. David, tried to explain to us as well but I felt it was not fair talking for them for 45 minutes, and explaining to us for 5 minutes. I did understand that he translate us as much as he could but I felt we was not getting all the informations. Beside this the seats inside the bus could not be reclined during the trip, and it was really uncomfortable for 12 hours trip that you can't recline your seat at all. Thank you for the tour.
Firstly, all our vehicles are equipped with GPS, so the stop duration at each location can be monitored. Since we do not offer products that provide service in only one language, perhaps you missed the specific details in the description. However, we certainly wouldn’t limit explanations to just five minutes, as our bus is equipped with audio guides that provide information in English. Additionally, for one-day tours in Melbourne, very few buses have adjustable seats. You might want to try one of those next time.
The tour was amazing but I confused that I asked for a English guide but I got the Chinese guide. Chinese guide took care of me the best, he talked to me in English but I just want to listen history of the places in English language because I cannot understand Chinese.
TERRIBLE !! This is a Chinese only tour. It was a very painful experience where we and few other tourists repeatedly requested the guide to summarize the instructions in English, but he was least bothered and continued talking at length only in Chinese. Even basic instructions like meeting time and point for each of the stops were not provided in English. They falsely list it as a tour with English guide to fill their bus, which primarily has Chinese speaking guests. AVOID unless you know Chinese, else you risk wasting an entire day
Thank you for your negative feedback. We have reviewed the surveillance footage and checked the situation on the day in question. The driver did provide an individual explanation to both you and the other guests. At each stop, we also communicated the meeting times in English, otherwise, you wouldn't have returned to the bus on time. We still appreciate your complaint and hope that you will receive accurate information and service in the future. We will continue to provide explanations in English, and as a result of this complaint, we have improved our services. Thank you.
Time spent with my family in a relaxed and informative outing. Tour guide was very helpful as he shared his knowledge of Melbourne with everyone on board. The trip was an enriching experience for us. It made us wanting to come back to enjoy the other parts of Melbourne that we do not have time for on this trip. We would definitely be getting back. Well done David Chen, you are an amazing tour guide. You made up for the not too good weather that was upon us today.
Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback on the Great Ocean Road tour! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the stunning scenery and had a memorable time exploring one of Melbourne’s most iconic destinations. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we're happy that the experience met your expectations.
Took this tour since it's the cheapest online. Everything is great. Understandable that the whole tour has to finish within 12 hours but I still wish we can spend more time at the stops. Accidentally get into Chinese-only tour & become the only non-Chinese person in the group, but no issue to me since I only need the transport. Michael is very nice & make me welcome in the group regardless & made sure I'm not left behind.
Thank you for your kind review of the Great Ocean Road tour! We’re so glad to hear that you had a great time exploring Melbourne’s stunning coastline. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we look forward to the opportunity to take you on another adventure in the future!
