The Palace is on the Bank of Pichola lake. From the palace, you can enjoy a nice city view. Aside from some great views, this palace has a great collection of weapons, guns, sedan chairs, tiger cages, and pictures. Experience the ferry ride on Lake Pichola, it operates from within the City Palace. The royal family still resides in one part of the palace.
Jagdish Temple is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. Located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. A tourist would experience just as much delight in the temple as a devotee would given the beautiful architecture of the shrine.
The lake is a great place for sightseeing and boating. You can take a private boat ride around the lake, stopping at the Jagmandir Palace island. From the boat, one can enjoy the nice views.
Visit the beautiful Jagmandir Island in the middle of Lake Pichola. Jag Mandir is a palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. Tourists can experience best of Rajasthani architecture and benevolence here.
Beautiful garden, with fountains, it was built for the ladies of the royal court. It is a sprawling garden with variety of 5 fountain areas inside. Relatively well maintained. This place can be toured in 30 minutes approximately. One can relax and unwind at this place.
A clean and well maintained circular park with a nice fountain which is made of white marble. One can do boating or simply sit idle and relax and spend some time here.
Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal promotes traditional performing arts. This place includes a museum and a cultural show which comprises of Kathputli Show and Traditional Dance. The Bharta lok kala mandal is a fascinating exhibition of area tribes and their traditional dress, activities, and customs.
Visit this place and find an extraordinary collection of every piece of furniture and glassware you can imagine, all made out of lead crystal glass. You will feel good walking around all these beautiful crystal items.
Fatehsagar lake is serene, clean, massive and super well managed. You can spend hours simply sitting on the banks and admiring the view. Despite the heavy uptick in footfalls over the years, Fatehsagar lake continues to be managed very well. This is specially in contrast with ghats on lake pichhola.

My overall experience with Udaipur Tour and Taxi was excellent. I was in couple. Initial planning was done by Bittubhai regarding points to be covered and in what sequence. We were served by two drivers Kailashbhai and Parkashbhai. It was excellent services from both of them. They were very disciplined and respectful and we felt absolutely safe. Car condition was also very good - neat & clean. We enjoyed our tour very much. I will recommend their services to others also. Overall, I really enjoyed this tour. I learned a lot about Udaipur—its history, what life is like there today, and also about my guides themselves. Birth was who I communicated through for booking and was very communicative and ensured the driver and guide were on time. He checked in to be sure the trip was going smoothly as well. Our driver, Prakash, was excellent. He drove very smoothly, was always waiting for us as soon as each stop or activity ended, and was happy to take us wherever we needed to go. At one point, we had about an hour between activities, so he kindly dropped me back at my hotel so I could freshen up before taking me to the puppet show. It was a very thoughtful gesture. My guide, Vishal, is a native of the area, and you can really tell how much he loves the city. He genuinely enjoys sharing its history and culture with visitors. He also opened up about his family and lifestyle, which made the experience feel much more personal and meaningful. The only downside to this tour—and honestly, something I experienced throughout India—was feeling taken advantage of as an American whenever shopping came up. For example, I mentioned buying something at the Taj Mahal, and I was repeatedly asked how much I paid for it, even after declining to answer several times. It made me feel like the question was being asked so I could later be quoted inflated prices at shops we visited afterward. In general, I found that once people realized I was American, prices often seemed to double or triple. I was asked at minimum 50 times in a day (no exaggeration) “where are you from” just so prices could be increased. For example, I had gone into the market the day before and bought earrings for one price and the shop we went to on this tour those exact same earrings were truly five times the price . It felt very sales-driven and, at times, a bit uncomfortable, which left a negative impression during parts of my trip. Vishal was kind though when I said I wanted to leave- he immediately acknowledged and helped me exit the store. I still rate this tour five stars because I genuinely enjoyed it and thought it was a fantastic way to experience Udaipur in a single day. I would recommend my friends and family to book the same. I would just advise future travelers to be aware of that kind of shopping pressure.
Trip was awesome. The mr. prakash prajapat is good and helpful guide. He drive good . The cab was clean . Water was provided that's make more happy to us.

We booked quite last minute and still everything was extremely smooth. I was contacted via WhatsApp by the organiser who gave me the details of the driver, our pickup point and our guide. The guide was extremely knowledgeable with good English. We had a great time and would recommend this tour of Udaipur to see all the major sites in one!
